Yokai Bob The Builder

Welcome to Yet Another FYB Monday Post featuring Yokai Bob The Builder by MeatCanyon. It occurred to Me that We have Used Several of MeatCanyon’s Works Particularly on Mondays for the Last Few Weeks Creating an Unofficial MeatCanyon Monday Situation. Mondays fucking Suck so MeatCanyon’s Odd Ball Alternative Comedy just seems to be Great at Combating Monday Melodrama. With that Said this Week We are Showcasing some of MeatCanyon’s Darker Work this Time Around. Whats Uniquely Different About this Certain MeatCanyon Animation is its in Japanese with English Subtitles. Yokai has the definite Presents Itself as a Cautionary Tale Crossed with a Moral Fable with a Very Folklore Feel.

MeatCanyon’s real name is Hunter August Hancock better know by His Online User Name MeatCanyon. Hancock is an American Youtuber, Animator, Voice Actor, Comedian, Writer, and Director who makes Parody Animations of Popular Characters (say Sponge Bob for instance). Some Viewers of MeatCanyon’s Animations  have Described Them in just one Single Word “Horrifying”. A Common on going gag in Hancock’s Video’s is that something Normal or Mundane gets You killed or Possible Worse.

Synopsis:

Young Asian Couple is eating dinner at home when a Hideous Troll like Gnome Appears out of the blue asking “Can we fix it?” The Sight of this Ghoulish Gnome Terrifies the Young Couple, but Alas the Ghastly Gnome Kidnaps Wife. Man Obviously Panics and Demands that the Gruesome Gnome return His Wife to Him. Unfortunately the Ungodly Gnome Tells the Husband matter of Factly that “You can’t fix this.” before Disappearing into the Night. My First Slumber Party

Welcome to Another Monday Post here at FYB featuring MY FIRST SLUMBER PARTY By One of Our Favorite Creative Artists MeatCanyon.

Sleepovers are one of the Strangest Rites go Passage for a Kid if You think about it. You make Friends at School, then Hangout at Each other’s Houses, and then the Almost Inevitable Sleepover. It’s such an Awkward Dynamic because once Night Falls You realize You have to Deal with Your Friend’s Adult Parents. To make things Feel even Uneasier You’re a Child who now must Communicate with Bigger and Smarter Adults (who have Temporary Authority and Control over You) without the Benefits of Your Parents acting as Your Amateur Ambassador. The Surreal part is You’re in Familiar Surroundings, but in the Context of a Sleepover They Suddenly Seem Utterly Alien at the Same Time. Then to Top off the Whole Bizarreness of it All You wake up in the Middle of the Night to take a Leak, and the Once Nondescript Hallway is Now Hauntingly Silent and Cloaked in Shadow. By the Time You get Home the Next Day You feel as if You just came back from a Foreign Country that just so Happened to be Ruled by Your Friends Parents.

MeatCanyon’s real name is Hunter August Hancock better know by his online user name MeatCanyon. Hancock is an American Youtuber, animator, voice actor, comedian, writer, and director who makes parody animations of popular characters (say Sponge Bob for instance). Some viewers of MeatCanyon’s animations  have been described them in just one single word “Horrifying”. A common on going gag in Hancock’s video’s is that something normal or mundane gets you killed or possible worse.

PLOT: An Eight Year Old MeatCanyon has a Rather Creepy Experience during His First Sleep Over at His Buddy Luke’s House involving Banana’s, Religion, Pokemon Cards, and His Friend’s Apparently Sociopath of a Father.

Enjoy.

Buy The Ticket, Take The Ride

Welcome to FYB’s Monday post showcasing the animated short BUY THE TICKET, TAKE THE RIDE which is an Oblitus original. The characters, voices, and backgrounds were done by Jack Dimaze, and features the musical track “the third in the night” by Kevin Maceod. What drew my attention to this animated short was the title which is an infamous phrase coined by American author (and prolific boozer and drug user ) Hunter S. Thompson.

Oblitus is a very small Youtube channel that’s been going since 2016, yet it has only garnered 1,000 subscribers to date. Oblitus on Oblitus “This is an animation channel where you will find all sort of different characters and stories.”

Brief plot summery:

What happens when an alien life form takes magic space mushrooms and can it handle the trip? Watch and see.

So I’ll see you when I see,

Official Video: BUDDY

To Help Combat the shitty stigma of Mondays for FYB’s Post Today We have a Little Something to Lighten the Mood. BUDDY is the Animated Comedy Short for the Third Track of Adam Sandler’s 1993 Comedy Album “There All Going To Laugh At you.”  that Visualized the Skit on MTV. The Skit was Written By Adam Sandler and Rob Schnider about Two Buddies, Two Dudes, and Two Homies meet Each other and End Up Hanging Out Together on a Train While Enjoying Various Alcoholic Beverages.

For Those Who May Not be Aware Comedy Albums were the Equivalent of The Modern Day Stand Up Comedy Special. The First Album Considered the First Modern Comedy was the 1958 Comedy Album The Future Lies Ahead by Mort Sahl. The Album was a Recording of Sahl preforming His Routine in front of a Live Audience.  In the 1960’s saw a Comedy Album Phenomenon with such Comedians as Redd Foxx, Lenny Bruce, Bill Cosby, Carl Reiner and Mel Brooks to Name a Few. Then in the 1970’s, Comedy Albums gained the Reputation for being Targeted Towards College Students, being Countercultural and NOT being Allowed on TV. This Included Comedians like Cheech and Chong, Richard Pryor, George Carlin, Steve Martin, and National Lampoon.  There were also what were Termed BLUE COMEDY Albums (or Party Records) existed from the 1950′, 60’s, and 70’s were Known for Their Raunchy Adult Content and Often Featured African American Comedians. Due to the Obscenity Laws Over Time, Party Records were NOT Displayed on the Record Store Shelves and were Kept Hidden Under the Counter. These Controversial Albums were Only Sold Upon the Request of the Customer (Meaning if You wanted it You had to SPECIFICALLY Ask For It), and were Promoted by Word of Mouth.

You see back in the Pre Internet/HBO/Comedy Central/YouTube/Streaming Services etc. Stand Up Comics had to Tour just like The Bands of Yesteryear. This meant a Merciless Unending Grind on the Road Doing Show after Show wherever the fuck You could manage to get Booked and Living out of a fucking Suitcase. Thus Comedy Albums were a Vital Tool used by Up and Coming as well as Established Stand Up Comedians to Stay Relevant, Gain More Exposure and Popularity, and Hopefully Paying Off by Garnering the Attention of a Big Time Hollywood Agent. It also Served as a some what Lucrative Money Making Endeavor for the Comedians because as We all Know when Starting Out in Anything the Pay Sucks.

Enjoy.

CAST:

  • Adam Sandler: As Buddy #2
  • David Spade: Buddy #1
  • Rob Schneider: Dude #1
  • Tim Herlihy: Dude#2
  • Tim Meadows: Homie #1
  • Robert Smigel: Homie #2/ Conductor (Voice)

Fast Human Industries

Welcome to a Tuesday post here at FYB featuring the cartoon FAST HUMAN INDUSTRIES By Obitus Creative Studios and Animated by Jack Dimaze.

It’s no secret that humans may be classified as omnivores, but humanity has a base primal desire to devour the flesh of dead animals to satisfy Humanity’s primordial blood lust. Humanity’s ravenous carnivorous desires has spawned the damnable practice of factory farming of the primary animals humans eat. The institutionalized animals are raised in endless rows of cramped cages in industrial sized warehouses with no fresh air or natural sunlight (they are subject to the same soul sucking florescent lights as say your average business office). The animals are then force fed a diet of artificial food, steroids, antibiotics, and god only knows what else.

Once the animals reach the size for human consumption they are liberated from their filthy over crowded  cages, and they are then transported to the dismal slaughterhouse to meet their untimely and unnatural demise. The abused animals that are shipped to the slaughterhouse are dispatched using barbaric techniques that  border on inhumane (and illegal).

Then their freshly killed carcasses are sent to the processing plant to be butchered, packaged, and shipped to your local grocery store. Apparently when Humanity evolved into the top predator in the fickle food chain is when Humans decided they could kill whatever they pleased with little to no justification on why or how (the only taboo being ironically is cannibalism).

PLOT: Humanity have become the fast food for a monstrous alien master race, and gone from predator to prey. Humans are raised and treated exactly the same as factory farmed animals we raise and slaughter on a massive daily basis for human consumption. What sets FAST HUMAN INDUSTRIES apart from other morality tales on the subject of industrial factory farming animals is the Ending which you think you will see coming only to have to hits you like a fucking ton of bricks.

Weird Shit Wednesday With Otto: CHANNEL X CARTOON SHOW

Welcome to weird shit Wednesday featuring CHANNEL X CARTOON SHOW by Robert Morgan. Robert Morgan has spent the last two decades creating a body of work characterized by nightmarish stop motion, and described as a disorienting trip into the subconscious. Morgan has sited Francis Bacon, Edgar Allen Poe, and The Brothers Quay as some of his biggest influences.

Critique:

CHANNEL X CARTOON SHOW is a David Lynch-esque trip down a schizophrenic rabbit hole of  unholy hallucinations, dire feelings of dread, sheer psychotic terror, and suicidal insanity.

Sunrise (A Teletubbies Cartoon) by MEATCANYON!

Welcome to FYB’s Wednesday post showcasing SUNRISE ( A TELETUBBIE CARTOON) By Our Latest favorite Animator MeatCanyon! If anyone is thinking to themselves “Teletubbies are you fucking kidding me? Has FYB gone plum retarded on itself?” then you don’t know us very well at all.

For those fortunate enough to have no fucking idea who or what the fucking Teletubbies were here’s the deal. Teletubbies was a British children’s television show created for the British Broadcasting Company (BBS). The show focused one 4 differently colored alien looking creatures (Twinky Winky, Dipsy, Laa-Laa, and Po) known as “Teletubbies”, named after the tv screens implanted in their bellies. The Show’s colorful psychedelic setting and fact that the Teletubbies communicated in gibberish was designed SPECIFICALLY to appeal to the attention spans of infants. The only audio on the show consisted of the Teletubbies gibberish, Clips of babies laughing, a Clip(s) of a Babbling Brook, birds chirping and other odd selections.

The show seemed to be one seriously surreal acid trip for infants/toddlers especially considering some aspects of the show. There wasn’t any educational value to the show I mean come the fuck on it was designed for fucking infants, so I don’t give a fuck who alleges there was an educational component. Also there were no guests, songs, or life lessons like the kind of fare that you’d find on Sesame Street. Again this is due to the fucking fact that INFANTS brain’s are virtually undeveloped seriously their less than even 1 year old.

Anyway the point is this why the original television show was the bizarre equivalent of a psychedelic tv acid trip for infants then MeatCanyon’s SUNRISE (A TELETUBBIES CARTOON) has the same premise only his version is the equivalent of a VERY FUCKED UP BAD ACID TRIP FOR ADULTS!

For Shits and Giggles : Where’s The Baby

So another motherfucking Monday is upon us trying to monopolize the course of our week! So to combat the bullshit here is todays FYB post featuring WHERE’S THE BABY by Spine_apples who describes their work as “shitty animation man”. I say their because I don’t think just because the word “man” appears in the quote that it’s an indicator to the sex of the animator. Anyway this 1 minute and 42 seconds of insane absurdity (that granted has a surprisingly funny but kind of grim ending) should serve as a fucking  universal public service announcement for all parents currently on the planet.

PSA: DEAR PARENTS THIS IS HOW THE REST OF THE WORLD SEES YOU. YOU ARE BETTER THAN THIS SO CUT THE CRAP.
