FYB Sunday Night Slaughter Cinema: The Mountain Of The Cannibal God!!!

FYB Sunday Night Slaughter Cinema is Prouder than a Pig in Shit to Present the 1978 Italian Cannibal Horror Film THE MOUNTAIN OF THE CANNIBAL GOD! The Film was also Widely Released in the America in 1979 under the Title Slave of the Cannibal God, and was released in the UK under the Alternate Title Prisoner of the Cannibal God (The Film was Subsequently BANNED until 2001 due to the Films GRAPHIC VIOLENCE, and was considered a “Nasty Video”).

Plot Summery:

Susan Stevenson is trying to find Her Missing Anthropologist Husband, Henry, Deep in the Jungle of New Guinea. Along with Her brother Author Susan enlists the Services of Professor Edward Foster who thinks Her Husband may have headed for the Mountain Ra Ra Me. The Locals believe that the Mountain is CURSED, and the Authorities will NOT Allow Expeditions there, so the Search Party sneaks into the Jungle disregarding the Locals and the Law. Along Their Search the Group meets fellow Explorer Manolo who agrees to Join Them on Their Expedition. Matters become even more complicated as it becomes evident None of the Search Party are in fact concerned about Finding Susan’s Missing Husband including Susan Herself.

Upon arriving at the Mountain, Author is KILLED and Manolo and Susan are Captured by a PRIMITIVE TRIBE OF CANNIBALS and taken to Their Camp. Once They reach the Camp They discover the Cannibals Worshipping the DEAD REMAINS of Susan’s Husband (Who’s still Ticking Geiger Counter is mistaken by the Cannibals for Author’s still Beating Heart). Susan is subsequently Spared from being SLAUGHTERED, and the Tribe of Cannibals Feast on other HUMAN AND REPTILE FLESH. Manolo is tied up and TORTURED, while the Other Members of the Group are EATEN. Meanwhile Susan has been transformed by Two Tribal Women into the embodiment of a Living Goddess. Manolo and Susan eventually manage to escape the Clutches of the Cannibals each having Suffered and Endured Their own Ordeals. Enjoy.

FBY is Proud to Present the 2009 Thai Cannibal Horror Movie MEAT GRINDER Written and Directed by Tiwa Moeithaisong.

Brief Plot Summery: But (Played by Mai Charoenpura) is a DISTURBED Woman who hears Voices in Her head and Tormented by Horrific Visions. Having been Taught some Dubious and Unconventional Food Preparation and Cooking Skills by Her Mother, She decides to Open up a Noodle Stall, using the Dead Body of a Man who was Killed in a Riot as the Main Ingredient. Soon the Customers are Turning up in Droves for Her Delicious Meals, and Life start is looking up as a Nice Good Looking Young Man takes a Romantic Interest in Her. However, Her past comes back to HAUNT Her, and as her Mental State starts to Break Down, Yet more People end up on The CHOPPING BLOCK or HANGING ON MEAT HOOKS in Her Basement.

The Film also Tackles the Themes of Mental Illness and the Mistreatment of Women, with But’s Behavior being Depicted as being part of an ongoing CYCLE OF VIOLENCE that she suffered as a Child, and which She is now passing on to Her own Daughter. Will But’s Cannibal Cuisine end up getting Her Caught or will Her Flair for Cooking Human Flesh lead to Her to the Life She always Wanted? Wait, Watch, and see for Yourself.

FYB’s Friday Madman Movie: GROTESQUE!!!

FYB is Excited to Present the 2009 Japanese Exploitation Horror Film written and Directed by Kaji Shiraishi GROTESQUE! Though Grotesque is billed as a Exploitation Horror Movie most People would Classify it as The Horror Sub Genre known as Torture Porn (made Famous by movies such as Saw and Hostel for example).

Plot Summery: The Young Couple Aki and Kazuo are Kidnapped off the Street during Their First Date after being co-workers for many Years. The Couple wakes up Shackled in a Basement with Plastic-Covered Walls. With No Explanation a SADISTIC MADMAN precedes to DEGRADE, TORTURE, AND MUTILATE THEM! The Madman stops Torturing the Couple to Provide Medical Assistance to Heal the Couple’s Wounds, so They can Live for a Longer Period of Time. It gradually becomes apparent that the Madman has Professional Medical Training, Refined Manners, a Taste for Classical Music, and Fine Wines. He also dresses in Expensive Clothes when He isn’t dressed like a PSYCHOTIC SURGEN. During the TORTURE PROCESS, it is Revealed the Madman is simply Torturing the Couple Mercilessly for Sexual Stimulation, and Informs the Couple He actually wants Them to SURVIVE the Ordeal.

Can the Young Couple Survive The Sick Sexual Horror They’re subjected to or are They Destined to Die in the Sinister Clutches of The Psychotically Sadistic Surgeon??? You’ll just have to watch and See. Enjoy.

Brief Plot Summery: Ami Hyuga is your average ordinary High School Girl until her World comes Crashing Down when Her Brother Yu and His Friend Takeshi are MURDERED by a Gang of Bullies led by the Malicious Sho Kimura who is the Son of a Criminal NINJA-YAKUZA Clan. Enraged by the Cold Blooded Killing of Her Brother Ami seeks Revenge Upon the Clan, But They BRUTALLY Overpower Her and Cut off Her Left Arm. Ami narrowly escapes and seeks Shelter with Takehi’s Parents who are Two Kind Mechanics who equip Ami with a MULTI-BARRELED MACHINE GUN PROSTHETIC!!!

Ami and Takeshi’s Mother Miki (Who is a Chainsaw Wielding Warrior) set off to Pursue the Evil Clan of Killers MASSACRING Them ONE BY ONE. Samurai Princess has been described as ERO GURO Action Film, and what is Ero Guro You ask? Euro Guro is an Artistic Genre that putts Focus on Eroticism, Sexual Corruption, and Decadence. As a Term, it is used to Denote something that is BOTH EROTIC AND GROTESQUE. The Grotesqueness Implied in the Term refers to things that are MALFORMED, UNNATURAL, or HORRIFIC! Items that are Pornographic and Bloody are Not necessarily Ero Guro, and Visa Versa. The Term is often Used Incorrectly by Audiences to mean “Gore” which is the DEPICTIONS OF HORROR, BLOOD, and GUTS.

Brief Plot Summery: Samurai Princess takes Place sometime, somewhere in an Alternative Universe of Feudal Japan, where People live Together with Highly Developed Mechanical Dolls called “Mechas”. However, Excessively Developed Mechanical Dolls start Causing HARM to Human Society, leading to GHASTLY BLOODSHED ALL OVER THE PLACE! Under the Circumstances, Mad Scientist Kyroaku invents a Virtually Invincible Mechanized Female Ninja equipped with 11 Types of Built in Weapons. Thats Not all because The Ninja is also INFUSED WITH 11 SOULS of Her Fallen Sisters. She uses Their combined Power to take Down Anyone who Dares to Stand in Her Way in Her Quest to Save Humanity Pinning MACHINE AGAINST MUTANTS! Enjoy.

A Short Sunday Horror Movie: The Facts in the Case of Mister Hollow

THE FACTS IN THE CASE OF MISTER HOLLOW is a Multiple Award Winning Short Horror Film Written by Rodrigo Gudino who also Directed the Film along with Vincent Marcone.

The Movie Focuses on a Single Photograph from the 1930’s that Tells an Entire Tale of KIDNAPPING, MURDER, and SACRIFICE captured in a Single Haunting Moment!! As the Movie starts to Scratch the Surface of the Picture it Reveals a Tapestry of HIDDEN AND SINISTER SECRETS in the Details Proving Nothing is as it Appears.

At the Beginning of the Movie starts the Audience is Shown a News Clipping with the Head Line that a Child has Disappeared, and is Believed to be One of an Estimated 100 Victims. A by-line shown in the same Clipping mentions PAGANISM is Alive and Flourishing in Northern Ontario. Along with the News Clippings is a Note that says Enclosed with the Clippings is a Photograph, and that the Reader should Look More Closely at It.

From there the Movie is Off and Running challenging the View to find the Preverbal Pieces of the Puzzle and Ensemble them to Reveal the Conclusion. Some of the Details are More Obvious such as One of the Men beginning to Light a Fire made upon Several Crucifixes for example. Other Details are Points of Interest that can be Easily Overlooked for example the Markings on the Hands of All Three Adult Males, The Car Mirror Showing BLOOD SPLATTER, The Crosses Nailed to Trees, and The BODY in the Backseat of the Car.

Eventually the Photograph reveals Two Additional People in the Background who are Both PRIESTS, and Apparently Holding a Shotgun Menacingly on the Group in the Forefront. This raises the immediate Question of Why do Priest have a Shot Gun in the first fucking place, and Why do They have it Turned on the Group is such an Aggressively Hostile manner?! In the End the Audience is left with the Biggest Question of them all and that Question is as Follows. WHO is the Cloaked and Menacing FINAL PERSON in the Photograph Reflected in the Sunglasses worn by One of the Men, and How does this Most Mysterious Figure Fit into the Story Trapped within the Photograph? Enjoy.

Terror Firmer is Directed by Independent Film Icon, and Troma Co-Founder Lloyd Kaufman. The Movie features several Direct References to Previous Troma Movies such as THE TOXIC AVEGER, and Includes Infamously Famous Troma Props like the “Penis Monster” from Troma’s Movie “TROMEO AND JULIET”. Terror Firmer is Loosely Based on James Gunn (who is one of Troma’s few Actual Employees and Writers of Terror Firmer) and Lloyd Kauffman’s Book Titled: All I Need To Know About Filmmaking I Learned from the Toxic Avenger.

Brief Plot Summery: Terror Firmer is the Story of a Low-Budget Film Crew in New York, led by Their Insane and Egotistical BLIND Director Larry Benjamin (Played by Lloyd Kauffman Himself) , who is Trying to Create a Cinematic Masterpiece. In Addition to the Typical Trials, Tribulations, and Travails of working on a Troma Set, the Crew Members are being MURDERED by a SEXUALLY CONFLICTED HOMICIDAL SERIAL KILLER!

Terror Firmer Centers Mainly on Production Assistant Jennifer, who Struggles to do Her Job while trying to Decide between the Two Men in Her Life; the Strait Laced Boom Operator Casey, and the Rebellious Special Effects Operator Jerry. The Love Triangle Intensifies as the DEAD BODIES START TO MOUNT with Increasing BRUTALITY! The Entire Film Crew must Band Together (both Physically and Sexually) Against the Mortal Threat in Their Midst in this Movie within a Movie. Enjoy.

FYB Wednesday Rockumentary: HEAVY METAL IN BAGDAD (with Bonus Video)

Just the Other Day during some inane Conversation I found Myself involved in I had a Moment of Clarity if You will. As I was trying to Pay Attention to what the Other Person was saying I noticed a Guy wearing an Old School Metallica T-Shirt which Suddenly triggered a Memory I had consciously forgotten about . The Memory was of a VICE Films Rockumentary I had seen Long ago (So long in fact I couldn’t tell You exactly how many Years its been) called HEAVY METAL IN BAGDAD. So when I got Home I hopped on Ye Olde Internet, Located a Copy of the Film, and I then Rewatched since it had been so goddamn Long since I had first Seen it.

It all Started in 2003 when the Heavy Metal Band Acrassicauda was the subject of a VICE Magazine Article, and with the Magazines Help the Band was able to Stage a Sold Out Show Two Years later in 2005 (Despite Saddam Hussein having recently being Ousted from Power). VICE Filmmakers Eddy Moretti and Suroosh Alvi returned to Iraq in 2006 in an attempt to Track Down Acrassicauda during the Horrific Iraq War. Moretti and Alvi literally risked Life and Limb in Pursuit of The Film as Americans, Reports, and Heavy Metal are all Looked Upon More than Unfavorably (to say the least) by Iraqi Society/Politics.

Acrassicauda is an Iraqi Heavy Metal Metal Band Who Played Live Shows during The Iraq War, and Under the Brutal Rule of Saddam Hussein. After Saddam and His Regime were Removed from Power Acrassicauda experienced a Surge in Fame and Popularity. Unfortunately the Band also Started to Receive DEATH THREATS from Fanatical Islamic Militants (Who believed the Band were SATAN WORSHIPPERS which is Absolutely and Completely False). Due to the Death Threats and the Increasing Violence in Bagdad The Band Members fled to Syria, then Turkey, and Luckily at Last the Band was Granted Refugee Status in America.
