Dinner For Few

Welcome to Today’s FYB Post the Animated Short Film DINNER FOR FEW by Award Winning Director and Animator Nassos Vakalis which an Allegorical Depiction of Society. I in Particular find DINNER FOR FEW to be Interesting and Entertaining is the Social Commentary that Reminds Me of Two of My Favorite fucking Books of All fucking Time. Those Two Books Being Animal Farm by George Orwell which is a Scathing Criticism on the Flaws and Failure of Communism. The Other is the Graphic Novel MAUS by Art Spiegelman which Depicts the Author’s Interviewing His Father about His Experiences as a Holocaust Survivor. Both Books and DINNER FOR FEW rely Heavily on Symbolism which I personally enjoy the fuck Out of (Especially Using Specific Animals to Embody Different Kinds of People. Example The Rich and Powerful) those that do per Animal Farm are Depicted in all 3 Works as PIGS.

The Best Part of Symbolism and DINNER FOR FEW is it actually makes You fucking think in the fucking age of Smart Phone Zombies and Laptop Ghouls. Swear to fucking God all the shit They put Out and Dare to call Entertainment is MINDLESS FUCKING DRIVIL. The Point and Click/Touch/Swipe Technology is causing Humanity to Actually De-fucking-evolve into Retarded, Mindless, Cavemen. Think I’m being over fucking Dramatic well then Ponder the fuck Out of This. Emojis are and have Always Been the Digital Equivalent of fucking Cave Paintings (No Hieroglyphs is too Advanced at this Point to be fucking Comparable).

Our View: DINNER FOR FEW does have One Unique Aspect that Sets it Apart from the Two Aforementioned Books, and that is it Depicts the Cycle of Life in Society as Opposed to just Commenting on the Social Situation/Issue/Problem at Hand. DINNER FOR FEW reminds Me of Two Sayings that for Me go Hand in Fucking Hand and They are the Following:

  1. “The Rich get Richer and the Poor get Poorer.” This Serving as the Societal Circle of Life on the Macro Level.
  2. “Don’t Piss on My Leg and Tell Me it’s Raining.” The Day to Day Injustices in Society and Those Affected by Them on the Micro Level.

The Symbolism as We see it:

  • Pigs: Well Obviously as I mentioned before the Pigs are Symbolic of the Wealthy, Privileged, Greedy, Gluttonous, Self Serving Elitist Assholes Who Only give shit about Themselves.
  • The Chef: Stands for the System that Enables the Pigs without Question its His Only function is to Blindly Serve the Pigs.
  • The Cats: Represent Average Citizens/Every Day People aka Anyone Who isn’t a fucking Pig.
  • White Lion: Is Indicative of Revolution as the Cats Unite against the Common Enemy the Pigs and Revolt Against the Tyrant Swine. Not Only that But the Feline Uprising enables the Cats to Not Only Stand Up Against the Pigs but to Also Exact Revenge in the Form of a Brutal Blood Soaked and Murderous Massacre.
  • The Lion Sleeping: is Symbolic of Peace and in this Case the Peace is that Peace has been Restored to the Land so to Speak.
  • Chef Killing the Lion and Kittens: Represents the Cycle of a Sick Society Continues it’s Never Ending Circle where Unavoidably things will Always Remain the Same.

I CAN COUNT TO THREE (Teaching Preschoolers To Count Using Corpses)

Welcome to Wednesday’s FYB post with none other than I Justin Sane. The holidays are a hellish consumer driven commercialist blitzkrieg of chaos and cash, and yup its that time of fucking year so JOY OH JOY. In addition to the end of the year lunacy Les recently took on a major fucking project and has been working himself towards certain insanity. So he nor Otto (who is being more of a moody fuck than usual) had anything planned for todays post and that’s where I come in with today’s post featuring the Animated Short I CAN COUNT TO THREE by The Mighty Animator known as MeatCanyon!

I CAN COUNT TO THREE is one of many various parodies that MeatCanyon has done since he seems to get a guine kick out of doing them. I CAN COUNT TO THREE is a parody of the British preschool animated tv series Peppa Pig by Astly Baker Davis. The series star is an animated female Pig named Peppa who is happier than a motherfucker and positive as fuck. In MeatCanyon’s parody Peppa is unexplainably transformed into some sort of monstrously demonic murderous mutant. The now evil Peppa proceeds to kill and consume her husband, and then promptly chases down her 2 kids who she also precedes to murder and devour 1 by 1. All the while as the violent bloody gore plays out there is a narrator who is using the horror show as a lesson to teach preschoolers on how to count to three.

It’s important to note there is a remake of the  MeatCanyon’s original also titled I CAN COUNT TO THREE titles Peppa Pig Horror Shorts and Creepy Blood Violence Gore which has a shorter runtime and far less narration (also the animation is different in the remake). I have no clue who is behind this reboot but I know whoever the fuck they are they are fucking idiots and total assholes. Who asked them to fuck with I CAN COUNT TO THREE in the first fucking place? ALSO be sure to watch the entire video since MeatCanyon himself makes an appearance directly after the video where he addresses the topics of Instagram, Mark Zuckerberg, and Twitter among other things.

Welcome to another madness inducing Monday post here at FYB featuring the Stop Animation video game parody  Claycat’s DOOM ETERNAL by Lee Hardcastle. DOOM ETERNAL (2020)  is a fucking BLOOD SOAKED GOREFEST first person shooter video game, and the 5th main game in the DOOM series and the Sequel to 2016’s DOOM.  Set some time after the events of DOOM, the story follows Doomguy once again, on a mission to END HELL’S CONSUMPTION OF THE EARTH, and foil the alien Maykr’s plans to EXTERMINATE HUMANITY!

Welcome to this Wednesday’s Post featuring the Official Music Video by Lee Hardcastle for the Song “NIGHTMARE” by the Band Love Automatic.

Lee Hardcastle is a British Animator Who Specializes in Stop-Motion Techniques. He is Famous for His Handmade Independent Animations. His Work includes Original Remakes of Emblematic 1980’s Action and Horror Movies, as well as Parodies of Animated Series and Video Clips. His Work is Known for its Violent and Gory Content. He has worked with Many Companies including Momentum Pictures, 20th Century Fox, and Adult Swim, and has Also Worked with Notable Artists such as Sufjan Stevens. Besides Being a Kick Ass Animator Lee Hardcastle was a Member of the Band Shit The Bed. Hardcastle once explained His Work as “I make Claymation that is Not for Children.”

Welcome to this Week’s Installment of Short Horror Film Friday featuring the 25 Minute 2013 P.O.W. Directed by Doug Cook and Eric Covello. Together the Duo of Cook and Covello are also known Collectively as The House of Short Horrors which They Describe as “Two Guys Making Short Monster Horror Films.”

 

Plot Summery:

When Their Small Rural Town has a Veteran’s Day Parade, Two Bunglers see it as an Opportunity to Rob what They Anticipated as being an Empty Home.  When the Evil Lurking just Outside makes its way into the House it sends the Partners in Crime Scrambling for Their Lives. Luckily for the Would be Robbers They manage to Escape by the Skin of Their Teeth making it Safely back to Their Vehicles. In Spite of Their Near Escape the Allure of a Safe (and the Possible Treasures Locked Away Inside )Prove to be Too Much for One of the Thieves sending Him back to the House He just Fled From. Once He Returns to the House is when the REAL HORROR BEGINS!!!

Short Horror Film Friday: AUTUMN HARVEST

Welcome to this Week’s Installment of Short Horror Film Friday featuring the Short Norwegian Horror Mystery Film AUTUMN HARVEST! The Film is Directed by Fredrik Hana, and Co-Written by Fredrik Hana and Marius K. Lunde.

Autumn Harvest is a Real Thinker if You will, and it’s a Bit of an Odd Duck. The Film is Shot Completely in Black and White and is Devoid of Any Dialogue whatsoever. This is a Truly Perplexing  17 Minute Insanely Cinematic Lovecraftian Tale that seems to Raise More Questions that it Answers. The Film is Full of Subtle Nuances, and Muted Details that almost Demand that it be Watched Multiple Times by the Viewer. It Only through Repeated viewing before the Puzzle of Autumn Harvest can be Completed at Last.

Plot Summery:

A Suicidally Grief Stricken Sailor living in an Isolated Shack on the Coast Line Kills Anyone that He Encounters while Answering a Mysterious Call Sea.
