Grindcore, Goregrind, & Pornogrind It’s All Good

Welcome to Today’s FYB Post Pertaining to Generes Gridcore, Goregrind, & Pornogrind Music. One of the Most Entertaining Factor’s of these Niche  Genres is that the Music/Album Art/Lyrics are an Unofficial Ongoing Competition. The Competition amongst the Type of Bands is to be MORE Obscene, Violent, Gory, Shocking, Repulsive, and Offensive than Their Contemporaries. For Those Who May Not be aware Here is a Very Brief Description of Each of the Aforementioned Musical Genres.

GRINDCORE: Grindcore is a More Noise Filled Style of Hardcore Punk while using Hardcore’s Trademark Characteristics like Heavily Distorted, Down Tuned Guitars, Grinding Overdriven Bass, High Speed Tempo, Blast Beats, and Unique Vocal Style that Consists of Growls, Grunts, Screaming, High Pitched Shrieks, and Guttural.

GOREGRIND: Goregrind (a Sub Genre of Grindcore) is Defined by Detuned Guitars, Blasting Drums (Sometimes with a High Tuned, Clanging ‘Biscuit Tin’ Snare Drum Sound), Sickening Lyrics, and Utilize EXTREMELY LOW or Pitch Shifted Vocals Often sounding like Pig Grunts and Squeals.

PORNOGRIND: Pornogrind is Related to the Goregrind Subgenre  that’s General Themes are Centered Around Sexual Themes. Common Pornorgrind Reoccurring Themes are Porno, Fetishes, Fucking, Girls, Murder, and Gore. Pornogrind also uses Revolting Sound Effects to add an Additional Gross Out Factor/ Offensive Factor including, BUT Not limited to Fart Sound Effects, Explosive Diarrhea, Projectile Vomiting, Porno or Horror Movie Clips, and Violence.

The Gashlycrumb Tinies Set To Music

Welcome to Today’s FYB Post featuring the Poem The Gashlycrumb Tinies by the Infamous Writer,  Artist, Illustrator, and Tony Award winning Costume Designer Edward Gorey (February 22, 1925 to April 15, 2000) set to Music by Daisy Chapman and Red Carousel. Gorey’s Characteristic Pen-and-Ink drawings often Depict Vauge and Unsettling Narrative Scenes in Both Victorian as well as Edwardian Setting that have Built a Long Term Cult Following Gorey wrote The Gashlycrumb tinies in 1963 and the Poem that serves Cautionary Tale of being Aware of all the Deadly perils of Life that can bring about a Person’s Early Demise. The Poem was once summed up by George Boomer who said “(The Poem) Is a rebellion against a view of childhood that is sunny, idyllic, and instructive.”. The Poem follows a Fairly Simple and Dark Theme Combining The Alphabet, Children, and a Horrible Fate for Each of the Children. The Poem consists of Child with a Name Starting with each Letter of The Alphabet in Chronological Order. What makes this Poem rather Demented is Each Child Mentioned Meets a Variety of Gruesome Deaths carried out  in Some Brutally Creative Way.

Throughout Gorey’s Illustrious Career Gorey was known for His Illustrated Books as well as Drawing Cover Art or Illustrations for Other Writers. Gorey illustrated Over 200 Book Covers for a Variety of Publishing Houses including Doubleday Anchor, Random House’s Looking Glass Library, Bubbs-Merrill, and as a Free Lance Artist. Among other Works Gorey illustrated Bram Stoker’s Dracula, H.G. Wells’ The War Of The Worlds, and T.S. Elliot’s Old Possum’s Book Of Practical Cats. When Gorey was working as a Freelance Writer/Illustrator He used several Pen Names, some of which were Anagrams of His First and Last Name like Ogdred Weary, Dogear Wryde, Ms. Regera Dowdy, just to Name a Few. Meanwhile Gorey used Other Pen Names for His Original Work Too such as O. Mude (which is German for O. Weary), and Eduard Blutig which is a German Pun on His Own Name. Also During His Career Gorey conducted Literary Experiments like. Creating Wordless Books, Books the Size of a Matchbox, Pop Up books, and Books that were/are Comprised Entirely of Inanimate Objects.

Gorey Classified His Work as Literary Nonsense, and in Respone to being called Gothic Gorey Replied “If you’re doing nonsense it has to be rather awful, because there’d be no point. I’m trying to think if there’s sunny nonsense. Sunny, funny nonsense for children—oh, how boring, boring, boring. As Schubert said, there is no happy music. And that’s true, there really isn’t. And there’s probably no happy nonsense, either.”

Now Our Favorite David Firth Animation(s) is His SALAD FINGERS Series that is Until We watched SOCK 6 which fucking Instantly became Our new Firth Favorite. SOCK 6 ramps up the fucking Creep Factor taking it to a whole New fucking Level even for Firth and We think that’s P{pretty fucking Awesome. SOCK 6 takes Place in a Stark Post Apocalyptic Wasteland that Remind Us of the Old Stock Footage of Nuclear Bomb Test Sites from the 1950s. In the 1950s the American Military for some Reason would Construct Mock Towns Populated by Mannequins, and then Nuke the Holy Hell out of Them. Why the fuck would They go through All that Trouble Staging a Bomb Site, but Who fucking Knows what the fuck They were Thinking. The Story follows a Scievy  Nameless Main Character (Who looks like Your Garden Variety Meth Addict) Starting in a Grimy Cafe/Diner with a Cook that’s a Mass of fucking Tentacles Named Allen. As far as We’re Concerned Allen is a Interdimensional Entity that’s a Cross Between the Kracken and Cthulhu and Accesses Our Dimension via a Portal that looks like a Food Service Window at a  fucking Medival Times Restaurant.

From the Cafe The Main Character travels with a pair of Ghoulish looking Twins in a Car ride that can Only be Described as Hellish. The Woods are filled with Smoke, People Burning, People Melting Under the Intense Heat, Dying, and Some are Being Tortured. Then Arguably the Most Demented Part of the Video Occurs as the Main Character Engages in Beastiality with a Talking Female Cow. After fucking the Cow the Main Character Forces the Cow to Play a Childish Game with Dire Consequences. That’s when the Police get involved, Arrest, and Imprison the Main Character in in what Looks like a Solitary Confinement Cell in a Stank Basement Dungeon. Then the Main Character asks a Strange Woman Survey Questions about Pissing, Shitting, Suicide, and Sex while She is on the Toilet.

Welcome to Today’s FYB Post WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON WITH hmrSilence?! So First and Foremost Who or What the fuck is hmrSilence ?Well it’s some Unknown Obscure and Cryptic Youtube Chanel the We came across Peering Down Rabbit Holes to see if Anyone is Home. hmrSilence Proved to be Something Rather Interesting So We decided to take a Closer Look into the Channel.

Now Obviously the Starting Point (and as it Turned Out Virtual Ending Point) by Surveying the Channel Basic Info Shit. When You Deal with These fucking Fringe Videos Long Enough You Notice Certain Patterns. So it wasn’t at All Surprising when the hmrSilence’s About, Channels, Playlists, and Community Sections are Completely Blank. We did Notice a Significant Difference Though which was Intriguing and that was that hmrSilence’s Home Page is Black with the Message “This Channel Doesn’t have Any Content” which isbn’t Exactly fucking True. If You Precede to Click on Videos then You Discover there are in fact 5 Videos in Total Posted/Uploaded (All 5 are Included in this Post). Whatever the fuck is Going on at hmrSilence it’s Moving at an Insanely Slow fucking Pace. The First Video titled 6996 was Posted 6 Years ago Sometime in 2016 and the Last Video Uploaded 66996 was Posted 3 Years Ago Sometime in 2019.

Before We get into the Videos We also became Initially Aware that Whoever is Behind the Channel is Doing one of the fucking Following. This Channel Could be an ARG or Gorilla Advertising Campaign (this is Common Place Dealing with this Kind of Weird fucking Shit), and this is NOT the Case with hmrSilence. Now Plenty of fuckng People do Believe the Channel is an ARG/Gorilla Marketing because it is True there are a Fuck Ton of Hidden Messages that Are Cryptic (6996 6996 is an Angelic Number signifying Good Luck Coming Your Way), or Random as Fuck for the Most Part. Anyways that Doesn’t Confirm Fuck All in the End since it Doesn’t Explain Shit Nor Provide Any Pertinent Information.We believe that Considering the Channel’s the Tiny Number of Uploads Spanning 6 fucking Years pretty much Rules Out Both of those Possibilities. So the Only thing on the “Fucked Up Shit List” as a Viable Option is this is Some sort of Art Type Project or just Some Weirdo/Lunatics Hobby.

We did See a Single Post that Suggested that the Video could be a Representation of Human Consciousness Transformed into Sound. If that is/was the Case then the Soundtrack if You will could be Interpreted as Audio Thought Patterns. Anyway at the Very End of the Video the Screen goes Black and 6996 Flashes on Screen.

The Screen is Utterly Black for the Entire Video with One Acceptation Occurring between 2:37 – 2:39 where a Visual Pops Up Momentarily. We have No fucking Clue what the fuck the Picture is and won’t Waste Time Speculating like Pretentious Assholes. The Intro Build Slowly and the Audio sounds like some sort of Beeping Over Static which We were Wondering Might be Morse Code.

We were Psyched to come Across this Video because it’s a bit of a Rarity in the World of What We like to refer to as Fringe Videos. You know what We’re talking about when We say Fringe, but if You Don’t here is an Explanation. What is a Fringe Topic? We use the Term Fringe Theory in a VERY BROAD Sense to Describe an Idea that Departs Significantly from the Prevailing Views or Mainstream Views in it Particular Field.

What makes it a Rarity in the Fringe Video field it Simply isn’t the Same Old Recycled Shit that You find Most of the Time. The Sound Track is Actually Pretty Decent as Opposed to the High Pitched  Tones, Squealing, Shrieking, Distorted Noise, or Static that Typically comes in Fringe Videos. Also PHR – 2/771 EDUCATIONAL VIDEO differs is there No Flashing, Ocular Seizure Inducing, Rapid Fire Flashy Interchanging Graphics Bombarding the Viewer the Entire fucking Time which again which is a Common Trait found in Fringe Videos. In Addition there isn’t Any Manipulated Speech in Low Grumbling Tones reminiscent of an Extremely Drunk Demon Slurring its Speech. It’s Cool to See Something Fringe MINUS all Usual Gimmicks that lets fucking Face it We’ve plenty of Times Before. An Issue in General with Fringe Videos is They are Prone to Overkill. When Overkill Occurs the Creators try Desperately to be Edgy, Strange,  Dark, Sinister, Evil, Creepy Etc. and it’s Obvious They’re Trying WAY TOO fucking Hard. To put it fucking Simply: There is NO fucking Need to Cram Every Trick in the Book into a Single fucking Video for it to be Good.

According to Joey His Great Grandmother Katherine Lou Hall was Born in 1861 and Died in 1945. 20 Years Later the Cemetery where Joey’s Great Great Grandmother was Buried at Closed due to “Poor Maintenance” though Joey does make the Allegation that the Cemetery was Shut Down because of “Corruption”. So in 1965 Joey without the Funds to Move and Rebury His Great Great Grandmother (and being Extremely Concerned about the Care of Her Remains) had to make a Decision. Joey then Decided it was in His and His Dead Great Great Grandmother’s Best Interest that He to Move Her to His Backyard.

The Video has No Dialogue as Joey is Deaf and Communicates entirely with American Sign Language  Posted this Video Originally in 2008. This is a Rather Redundant Intro By Joey Followed by the Original Video. In the Original Video Joey tells His Story, Shows His Great Great Grandmother’s Mummified Remains, and Then does Something to/with the Corpse that will make Most People want to fucking Gag.
