THE SEPARATION

Welcome to Today’s Post the 2003 Animated Stop Motion Short Film SEPARATION Directed, Written, and Animated by Robert Morgan. Robert Morgan has spent the Last Two Decades creating a Body of Work Characterized by Nightmarish Stop Motion, and Described as a Disorienting Trip into the Subconscious. Morgan has sited Francis Bacon, Edgar Allen Poe, and The Brothers Quay as some of His Biggest Influences.

Robert Morgan in His Own Words:

As a kid, I always found stop-motion creepy. I love horror and making nightmarish films, and stop-motion animation is perfect for that. The way everything moves has an unnatural, uncanny feeling, a weird jerkiness. Everything is somehow alive and dead at the same time.” -Robert Morgan-

Plot Summery:  A Pair of Conjoined Twins are Separated when They are Adolescents with Dire Life Long Consequences for Them Both.

Enjoy.

Animation Abomination: ESKOS

Welcome to another Installment of Animation Abomination Featuring the 2009 Stop Motion Short ESKOS By British Puppeteer, Director, Writer, Animator, and Musician Barnaby Dixon. ESKOS is in Fact the Very First Video Posted by Dixon when He Joined Youtube in 2011. ESKOS to Me resembles what a Hybrid of the Band Tool’s Early Videos and Edgar Allen Poe’s The Raven would look like.

Brief Plot Summery:

a Team of Two “Disgrega Workers” (Disgrega is a Spanish Word that Translates to Disintegrates) Toil away everyday as some sort of Industrial Fishmongers. The Workers spend 12 hours a Day from 9-9 Butchering Large Fish and Packaging the Meat in Butcher’s Paper. One Night a Prehistoric  Sized Bird breaks into the Factory and Devours the Entire Stock of Fish in the Walk-in Freezer.

When One the Workers Returns to Work the following Day to find the Fish Supply Decimated to His/Her Great Dismay. The Bird (which in My Mind Resembles a Crow) and the Worker launch into a Game of Tom and Jerry as the Worker Tries to Rid the Factory of the Flying Fish Eating Fiend. The Second Worker arrives and The Two Workers end up in a Full Blown Fight over Their difference of Opinion on How to Handle the Situation. Will the “Crow” Escape Unscathed or will the Workers Rid Themselves of the Winged Pest Once and for All? You’ll just have to Watch and See for Yourself.

Enjoy.

NINGEN ISU: Heavy Metal From The Land of the Rising Sun

It Occurred to US here at FYB that We haven’t done a Musical Post since “The Goddamn Gallows” Piece so it’s About Time We did Another. This Time We decided to Cover Our Favorite Japanese Heavy Metal Band NINGEN ISU!!

Ningen Isu Musical Style yields The Band a True Unique Sound. The Band often writes about Classic Japanese Literature by Authors like Rampo Edogwa, Osamu Dazai, and Yukio Mishima. The Band’s other Literary Influences include the Word by Edgar Allen Poe, H.P. Lovecraft, as well as Friedrich Nietzsche.

Ningen Isu often take on Topics such as Hell, Buddism, The Universe, Samurai, and Gambling.

Wajima and Suzuki have a Local Accent called “Tsugaru Dialect” which adds to the Unique and Heavy Atmosphere as well as the Rhythm to Their Songs.

Wajima often uses Difficult and Old Japanese words (used in the Edo Period to the Showa Period) that are often Hard to Understand even by Japanese Standards which adds a to the Solom and Powerful feel of Their Music.

Ningen Isu’s Musical Genres Include But are Not Limited to: Hard Rock, Heavy Metal, Doom Metal, and Progressive Rock.

How It All Started:

In the Early 1980’s Suzuki met Wajima at a Music Salon, and Suzuki was impressed by Wajima’s creative talent for Composing Songs. In 1983 They joined a The Band SHINE SHINE DAN (Translation: The Dead Dead Group) and played Hard Rock Songs at Music Festivals around Japan.

In 1985 after attending Different Collages (Suzuki went to Sophia University to Study Russian Literature, and Wajima went to Komazawa University to Study Buddhism) The Two Friends formed a Band Who’s name was changed in 1987 to Ningen Isu when Drummer Norriyoshi Kamidate joins the Band.

Ningen Isu gained a great deal of Popularity in 1989 playing Their Song Injuries (Strange Beast) on a Japanese Televison Show called Ikasu Band Tengoku (Translation: Cool Band Heaven). The Band’s Heavy Sound, Lyrics full of Literary References/Influences, and Musical Techniques Surprised the Show’s Judges.

Salute To Eccentrics Peter The Canine Trainer And His Pet Raven Sam

We here at FYB have a Devout Devotion, Eternal Curiosity, and True Admiration for Odd Balls, Weirdos, and Most of All Eccentric Personalities. So Saluting Some of Our Favorite Eccentrics Just made Sense, and We decided to Start with None Other Than Peter The Dog Trainer.

We FYB could dig up as For Information pertaining to Peter The Dog Trainer/Amateur Comedian/Ventriloquist/Military Veteran, and Owner of Peter Caine Dog Training is as Follows. Peter Canine  (for short or perhaps He had his Last Name changed at some Point)  is an Actual Real Life Dog Trainer and Animal Lover from Brooklynn NY who’s Family History was raising Hunting Dogs. All Though Peter is a Real Dog Trainer His methods remain Highly Controversial. Peter is known for His Regular Criticism of Fellow Dog Trainers going as Far as to Once Say “Fuck Ceaser Milan.”

Peter hit the Internet in 2017 and has Gradually become Know as One of The Internet’s Most Eccentric Personalities to Date.  Peter is a Adimate Believer in Bigfoot and Claims He has definitive Proof Bigfoot Exists in the Rotting Remains of a Head of a Decapitated Bigfoot His Dad supposedly Shot and Killed back in 1953.

Peter’s fascination with Bigfoot doesn’t End There NOT by a Long shot as He claims to have Several Personal Face To Face Encounters with Bigfoot, and has Even Trained a Dog in the Art of Tracking/Hunting Down an Actual Bigfoot. FYB will Most Definitely be Posting Next Week Pertaining to Peter’s Bigfoot Fetish, but for Now Let’s examine another aspect of Peter’s Life His Pet Raven Sam (Yes Edgar Allen Poe is Rolling in His Grave with Obvious Jealousy).

We definitely have a Deep Fondness for Peter Canine’s Video’s pertains to His Pet Raven Sam. The Oddest thing is Peter DOESN’T Recommend ANYONE Own a Raven or Have one as a Pet. Raven are well Documented as being HIGHLY INTELLIGENT and have a Shit Ton of Requirements if Your looking to have One as a Pet.

The Intrigue We have with these Videos is How Absolutely Defeated Peter Looks in Each of His Sam The Raven Videos. It appears that Sam The Raven has worn Poor Peter down to His breaking Point, and Totally Dominates Peter’s Life. It’s almost as if Sam has Broken Peter’s Spirit making Him Totally Subservient to Him. If there is an Actual Master in Their Relationship its  definitely Sam.

We Hope You Enjoyed Meeting Peter The Dog Trainer (and Sam) as Much as We Did, And Remember To Keep Your Mind Open For A Closed Mind Rots and Decays .

Thanks for Viewing,
