Saturday Slasher Cinema: All Hallow’s Eve

Since Today just Happens to be the Greatest Holiday of Them All We Selected a Halloween Specific Movie.

All Hallow’s Eve is the 2013 Horror Anthology Film Written, Directed, and Edited by Damien Leone, in His First Full Length Feature Film Directorial Debut. The Film Incorperates Footage from the 2008 Short Film The 9th Circle, as well as the 2011 Short Film Terrifier, both of Which were also Directed by Leone and Stared Art The Clown. The Character of Art The Clown would later be featured in the 2016 Full Length Horror Film Terrifer, Also Written and Directed by Leone.

                      

Premis:

After a Night of Trick-Or-Tricking on Halloween, Babysitter Sarah is Surprised to see that Children Tia and Timmy have Received an Unmarked VHS Tape in one of Their Bags. The Children convince Sarah to allow Them to watch the Tape, which contains Three Stories, each of which features a HOMICIDAL CLOWN simply named Art The Clown.

Saturday Slasher Cinema: The Burning

Welcome to this Week’s Edition of Saturday Slasher Cinema Featuring the 1981 Slasher Cult Classic The Burning Directed By Tony Maylam. The Movie is Based on a New York Urban Legend of the Cropsey Maniac, and is the Debut of Actor Jason Alexander as well as  Actress Holly Hunter. The Musical Score for the Film was Composed by Rick Wakeman of the Progressive Rock Band Yes. The Special Effects are Courtesy of Effects Legend Tom Savini who turned Down Working on Friday the 13th Part 2 to work on The Burning.

(NOTE: Before Any Wise Ass has a Chance to Mention it Harvey Weinstein was involved in this Movie, but I refuse to give Him ANY Credit for Anything Ever. The Only Thing Harvey Weinstein should be Remembered for is being a Pedophile, Child Molester, and Serial Rapist Who will Die Rotting in Prison.)

                   

Plot:

At a Camp Blackfoot, Some of the Teenagers pull a Prank on The Camp’s Sadistic and Alcoholic Caretaker, Cropsey (as They feel it is necessary to ‘Get Him Back”). The Prank though goes Horrifically Wrong when They Teens accidentally Set Cropsey on Fire and Leave Him for Dead. Five Long Torturous Years Later, the Demented and Deformed  Cropsey is Discharged from the Hospital, and Returns to the Camp Equipped with a Pair of Rusty Sheers, Ready to Unleash His Particular Brand of Vengeance on Those Responsible for His Gruesome Disfigurement. Can Anyone Stop the Murderous Cropsey’s Killing Spree before He Transforms Camp Blackfoot into Blackfoot Graveyard or Are The Campers Destined to Die One By One in the Woods?

Welcome to the Fourth Saturday Slasher Cinema where We are Happy (and We’re Guessing So Are You)  to Bring You Something COMPLETELY DIFFERENT than the Last Three Saturday Slashers Cinemas.

This Weeks Saturday Slasher Cinema Feature Film is the 1988 Action Slasher Movie MANIAC COP Written By Larry Cohen and Directed By William Lustig. The Movie is Centered around Officer Matthew Cordell (AKA the Maniac Cop) a Murderous Ex-Cop Who has Returned From the Dead, and Seeks Revenge on the People That Wronged Him. Cordell a Once Respected Policeman with a Penchant for Brutality and Excessive Force, He found Himself an Unwitting Target when He Stumbles upon Rampant Corruption at City Hall. Cordell is Tried, Convicted, and Sent to Prison, where He is Attacked by Fellow Prisoners and is Presumed Dead….

                

Plot Summary:

Innocent People are being Brutally Murdered on the Streets of New York City by who Witness All Agree is a Uniformed Police Officer. As the Death Toll Rises and City Hall attempts a Cover-up, Detective Lieutenant Frank McCrae Heads has been Assigned to Crack the Case of The Alleged Killer Cop. Soon the Investigation finds a Suspect in its Own Ranks: Young Cop Jack Forrest (Played by the Legendary B Horror Movie Actor Bruce Cambell) who was Set Up By the Actual Killer and a Mysterious Woman Phone Caller. Now Forrest, His Girlfriend and Fellow Police Officer Theresa, and McCrae Set Out to Solve the Puzzle to Clear Forrest Name Before The Maniac Cop Kills Again!

Saturday Slasher Cinema: SLUMBER PARTY MASSACRE 2

Considering this is the Second Installment of Saturday Slasher Cinema We thought it Only Appropriate to Feature the 1987 Black Comedy Slasher Film Slumber Party Massacre II (Written and Directed By Deborah Brock, and Produced by Roger Corman). SPM II Doesn’t Bring anything Insightful to the Slasher Genre, it’s Far More Interested in B-movie Fun and Special Effects. That’s Not a Bad Thing by Any Means. One of the Best Moments in the Movie is the Gag-Inducing Vision Courtney has of Her Friend Sally’s Massive Zit growing to a Grotesque and Monstrous Size unit it Burts Splattering Her with Fluid. Yeah, that’s the Type of Insanity SPM II Delivers.

               

Brief Plot Summary: “The Driller Killer is Back- and He Parties for Keeps!”

Set Years after the Slumber Party Massacre, now Teen Courtney is a Senior in High School and Plays in a Band with Her Three Close Friends. Courtney is also Experiencing Horrific Nightmares about the DRILL-WIELDING MANIAC KILLER from the First Film Returning. She can’t Shake the Terrifying Feeling that She and Her Friends will be VICIOUSLY TORMENTED AND BRUTALLY BUTCHERED. Again and Again the Nightmare Returns as a Dazed Courtney starts to Lose Control of Her Waking Life that’s Turning into a Surreal Horror Show. And Then Her Nightmare Crosses Over into Reality. No One Believes Her, Until it’s Too Late. The Driller Killer Returns Reincarnated as an Evil Rock’n Roll Greaser with a Massive Drill Bit Guitar Combo of Carnage. He Methodically Stalks Them; then VIOLENTLY GORES THEM TO DEATH….ONE BY ONE. Saturday Slasher Cinema: THE SLUMBER PARTY MASSACRE

FYB is Dementedly Delighted to Present Tonights Slasher Film the 1982 Cult Horror Classic THE SLUMBER PARTY MASSACRE Written By Actor/Screenwriter Rita Mae Brown and Directed by Amy Holden Jones. The Film was Originally written by Brown as a Parody of the Slasher Genre but was Shit as a Straightforward Horror Film Instead. As a Result, it Contains more Humor, bot Intended and Unintended, than Usual for the Slasher Genre at the Time.

               

Brief Plot Summary: Well it’s Pretty Simple Considering this is a Classic 80’s Slasher Film. The Slumber Party Massacre follows a High School Senior Girl’s Basket Ball Team where a Group of Teammates Decide to have a Slumber Party, the Teens though are Unaware  that the PSYCHOTIC MASS MURDERER Russ Thorn (With a Propensity for Power Tools and Who’s currently Wielding a Nasty Power Drill) has Escaped from Confinement and is At LARGE IN THEIR NEIGHBORHOOD!! The Slumber Party is turned into a Bloodbath as the Trapped Teens are Slaughtered One By One MAYHEM AND CARNAGE Ensues. As The Body Count Begins to Rise will Anyone Survive the Sinister Slumber Party or are They all Destined to Die at the Hands of Russ the POWER DRILL KILLER?! You’ll just have to watch and see for Yourself.

In Spite of the Movie’s Minuscule Run Time of 43 Minutes total most Viewers are Unable to Watch the Entire Movie (That Goes Even for Hardcore Gore/Splatter/Torture Porn Fans).

           

Plot Summary:

A Video Tape and a Letter are given to the Tokyo Police in a Small Discreet Envelope with No Return Address or Postal Mark. The Accompanying Letter Tells of an Experiment on Human Endurance and How Much Punishment the Human Body and Mind can Endure before Succumbing to Death. To Explore the Unknown Boundaries of Suffering and to Push the Threshold of Pain, Three Sociopathic Explorers of Anguish Abduct a Helpless Young Woman. Intent on putting Their Youthful Subject through the Seemingly Endless Ordeal of Their Sadistic Research, The Explorers use Increasingly Brutal Techniques to Test the Theoretical Limits of Human Endurance.

Friaday Slaughterfest Film: SLEDGEHAMMER

Welcome to The FYB Friday Slaughterfest Film the 1983 Slasher Movie SLEDGEHAMMER Written and Directed by David A. Prior. Sledgehammer was One of the Very First Shot on Video Horror Movies.

           

Brief Plot Summary:

In a Secluded House, an Abusive Mother locks Her Young Son in a CLoset, then goes into another room to Meet the Man She is Cheating on Her Husband with. The Man and Woman plan to Leave Their Respective Spouses, but Their Plans are Cut Short when an UNKNOWN KILLER appears and MURDERS THEM WITH A SLEDGEHAMMER!! The Police arrive and Find the Corpses, with the Exception of the Little Boy, Who  is Missing and is Presumed Dead.

Ten Years after the Grisly Murders Seven Friends get Together to Enjoy a Crazy Weekend in the Mountains, Drinking and Partying to Their Hearts Content. Unbeknownst to the Group, a SHAPE SHIFTING EVIL still Lurks within the Walls of the House just Waiting to be Unleashed. The First Day at the House, One of the Seven Friends, John goes Snooping Around in the Garage. He Finds a Sledgehammer and Takes it. What John is Unaware of is by taking the Sledgehammer He has Unwittingly Unlocked the Homicidal Spirit that Haunts the House, and the Fight for Survival has Begun.

           

When Night Falls, Chuck convinces His Friends to Participate in a Seance in an Attempt to Contact the Spirits of the Victim’s Who Died in the House, so The Group can Solve the Mystery of Who Murdered Them. The Impromptu Seance is a Success and Brings Forth the Ghastly Ghost of the Missing Boy, which Appears as a Towering Man in a Smiling Translucent Mask. It doesn’t take long for the Sinister Spirit They Summonded to Start Slaughtering Them by Bludgeoning, Stabbing, and Breaking His New Victim’s Necks!

Discovering the Dire Fate of Their Friends the Remaining Teens decide to Hold Up in the House until Morning, at which point They will attempt to Reach the Nearest Town. Will the Remaining Teens Escape the HOUSE OF HORROR or are They Destined to Die as Well? Can Anything Stop the Sledgehammer Wielding Spirit’s Killing Spree Once and For All? And Can Evil Even Die???

Friday Horrorfest Film: THE LAST SUPPER

Welcome to Friday Horrorfest Film featuring THE LAST SUPPER the 2007 Japanese Cannibal Slasher Horror Film Written and Directed by Osamu Fukutani. The Last Supper is Based on the Work “The Shonan Flesh Eating Conspiracy” by Kei Ohishi ( a Writer Know for His Novelizations of Popular Horror Movies). Just the Mere Mention of Cannibalism would make Most of Us Feel Uneasy Due to its Disturbing and Taboo Nature. In the World of Film Cannibalism could be considered an Important Sub-Genre of the Exploitation Movie Era which was Popular in the 1970’s and 1980’s.

           

Brief Plot Summary: A Plastic Surgeon named Kato Excels at His Job hides a Dark and Deadly Secret. After Finally Succumbing to His Desire to Taste Human Flesh, Kato soon finds Himself ADDICTED TO THE TASTE OF HUMAN FLESH! Kato’s Newly Indulged Cannibalistic Tendencies lead Him to Discover Further Culinary Delights at a Seedy Underground Restaurant with some Extremely Sinister Dishes. MURDER AND MAYHEM ENSUE as the Dementedly Detestable Doctor Continues to find New and Gruesome ways to Satisfy His Abnormal Appetite.

     

The Last Supper contains a Ton of Bloodshed and Splatter Movie Gore (Including Decapitations, Face Ripping, Limb Dismemberment, Heart Ripping) and Seriously Bizarre and Chilling Highlights that include Kato talking to the SEVERED HEADS OF HIS VICTIMS while Dining on Their Flesh, a BLOOD CURDLING Wedding Finally, and a Sequence where the Underground Restaurant/Night Club has a Sickening Special on Their Menu where a Female Dancer is Decapitated with Her Body Sliced Up and Cooked. Kato is the Film’s Main Viewing Strength in the Manner He Remains Cool and Calm while Performing GRISLY AND MURDEROUS ACTS upon His Victims (and Let’s Face it Kato and the Gore are the Main Reason to Check Out The LAst Supper).
