Welcome to Today’s Post the 2003 Animated Stop Motion Short Film SEPARATION Directed, Written, and Animated by Robert Morgan. Robert Morgan has spent the Last Two Decades creating a Body of Work Characterized by Nightmarish Stop Motion, and Described as a Disorienting Trip into the Subconscious. Morgan has sited Francis Bacon, Edgar Allen Poe, and The Brothers Quay as some of His Biggest Influences.
Robert Morgan in His Own Words:
“ As a kid, I always found stop-motion creepy. I love horror and making nightmarish films, and stop-motion animation is perfect for that. The way everything moves has an unnatural, uncanny feeling, a weird jerkiness. Everything is somehow alive and dead at the same time.” -Robert Morgan-
Plot Summery: A Pair of Conjoined Twins are Separated when They are Adolescents with Dire Life Long Consequences for Them Both.

Welcome to this Week’s Installment of Short Horror Film Friday featuring NO THROUGH ROAD 4 the Final Short in the British Psychological Horror Series. This Installment is a Bit Different because Below the FilmWe have Our Series Synopsis where We examine the Four Films in an Attempt to Deduce What it was all About/What was Going On. If You haven’t seen the Three Previous NO THROUGH ROAD Short Films We Highly Suggest You Do before watching NO THROUGH ROAD 4 (You can Find all Three Previous Shorts Here in the Movie Category in case Some aren’t Aware).

Enjoy.
So What was it all About: Final Summation
Basically, the Boys Found the House and Figured Out that the Mysterious Man in a Mask that Terrorizes the Boys Lives There. Essentially, The Man in a Mask has been Living Out in the Middle of Nowhere, Tormenting and Quite Possibly Killing People Who Unknowingly Dare Trespass on His Property. Now, the Interesting thing Here is that You have to stop thinking Steven and The Man in the Mask are Two Different People.
The Signs that said “No Through Road” were a Dire Warning to Travelers. How things go for Steven is as follows:
Present: They Found Steven (When He shows Up Out of Nowhere in No Through Road 2)
Past: He was “Murdered” along with His Friends.
Future: The Man in the Mask/Steven Knows what the Tunnel is and Tries to Warn People Off from it.
Instead, People/Travelers go through without thinking, so He Tries to Scare Them Away. The Tunnel itself is like the Movie Groundhog Day; an Infinitely-Looping Series of Events that Only the One(s) Who are Aware and/or Experiencing them can Prevent. Steven believed that if He Prevented The Man in the Mask (Himself) from Attacking the Past Him, it would Somehow Alter the Outcome of the Events that Followed. Unfortunately, He Ended up Attacking Himself and Repeating the Events that lead to Him being Discovered. Horrified by what He had Done, Steven Runs Away and Hides where Nobody can find Him, Unless They go Searching. He stays there for Years, scavenging together Food and shit for However long and doing His Best to Prevent a Repeat of Events. Except each day, He Repeats the Same Thing in an Eternal Loop.
The Reason Why the Boys can’t Hurt The Man in the Mask is because He Does Not Exist at the Same Point in Time. Steven in the Future has Learned that Not Only did the Tunnel Trap Him in an Infinite Loop, but with some Practice, He can Jump to Specific Points in Time.Steven is No-face. He wants to Prevent Other People/Travelers from Experiencing His Hell. He knows No Matter what, Regardless of what Point in Time He jumps to, the Events that are Keeping Him there are a Fixed Point in Time. Anything that Happens following Someone’s Discovery of the Tunnel Automatically becomes a Fixed Point in Time that keeps You Trapped Unable to Escape.
We are Thrilled to Present OPERATOR Episode 2 By The Insanely Talented Animator Sam Barnett. We posted the Original Stop Motion OPERATOR a while back and were Excited to Learn Mr. Barnett was turning it Into a Web Series (in Fact Operator Episode 3 is Currently in Production with a TBA Release Date).
When Asked about the Operator Series Barnett was Quoted as Saying the Following.
“I released Operator as a standalone short in 2013 and got much more recognition than I ever anticipated. I got inspired to make more and spent the next two years (between working other jobs) writing 14 new episodes. I got interest from a major studio to make it as a feature but it didn’t pan out. I considered working with a smaller horror production company that wanted to make it as a webseries but it wasn’t as good fit. After two years developing the series I decided to stop waiting for permission from studios and launched a successful kickstarter campaign to make Episode 2 wich We released in 2017.”
Note To Reader: First Off We highly Suggest You watch the Original Episode of Operator before watching Episode 2 since Episode 2 starts where Episode 1 Ends.

Welcome to another Installment in the FYB Short Horror Movie Showcase featuring THE SMILING MAN and DON’T MOVE!!!
THE SMILING MAN By A.J. Briones in Association with ALTER (a Company that Traffics in Short Horror Movies) is a SINISTER little Endeavor. In The Smiling Man an Innocent Young Girl watching Cartoons starts to Follow a Trail of Balloons throughout Her House. At the End of the Trail the Little Girl comes FACE TO FACE WITH PURE UNADULTERATED EVIL!! The Smiling Man’s has an Overall “The Devil’s come for Your Daughter” Tone makes it Even more Unnerving. It lends itself to the You feeling You’re watching a Powerful and Vicious Predator Luring its unsuspecting Prey into Striking Distance.
What We particularly Enjoy about The Smiling Man is it reminds Us a Great Deal of Asian Horror. Asian Horror for the Most Part Deals in Disturbingly Demented Psychological Creepiness as Opposed to an All Out Gorefest. It’s a Truly Unique Stylistic Form of Creepy that irks You to the Bone. The Smiling Man is the Kind of Creepy “Cat in Mouse” Horror Movie that leaves You feeling Uneasy, and it tends to Linger Hauntingly in Your Mind for Days after Watching. Enjoy.
DON’T MOVE By Bloody Cuts and Directed by Anthony Melton is a Throw Back to the Devious Demon Centric Horror Movie Classics from the 80’s Ouija Board and All. One of the Impressive Facts about Don’t Move is though it was made on a Very Small Budget the Movie yields High Production Value Effects and That’s No Exaggeration We Assure You. The Other Amazing thing about the Film is the Acting is Exceptionably Good. Since Acting Terrified is One of those Things that People think is Easy When that couldn’t be Farther from the Truth the Actors really Bring it Home.
The Other Aspect of Don’t Move that We particularly got a Real Kick Out Of was if Don’t Move was a Roller Coaster it Starts with/on that First Massive Plunge Down sending You straight into the Heart of the Action. From the BLOOD SPLATTERED Opening Scene Don’t Move’s Backstory has Been Told, The Deed is Done, and The Demon has Come So DON’T MOVE!
We Hope You Enjoyed Coming Eye to Eye with The Vilest Evils as Much as We Did.
