Some Drug War Dinosaurs WON’T DIE.

Some Lingering Dinosaurs Left Over from the Failed War on Drugs refuse to Face the Fact They’re facing Extinction. The War on Drugs has been a Colossal waste of Time, Money, Man Power, Resources, and Ended in Horrific Failure. The Cliche goes “Those Who Don’t Learn from History are Doomed to Repeat it” and That Cliche definitely applies to America. You think after the Spectacular Shit Show that was Prohibition The American Government would have learned the Simple Lesson of PEOPLE WILL CONTINUE TO DO THINGS THEY WANT TO DO EVEN IF THEY ARE ILLEGAL.

Prohibition surrendered to Defeat in 1933, but the Government had a Serious Public Relations Disaster because Prohibition Failed. Not only did Prohibition Fail in its Mission to Stop Americans from Drinking it also gave Rise to Organized Crime. Along with the Rise of Organized Crime came Countless Murders and Assassinations as Bootleggers fought for Territory and Customers A Like.

So The Governmental Law Agencies had to find a New Public Enemy Number One to Save Face from Prohibitions Failure, and Distract the Public from the Monumental Failure that Prohibition turned out to be. Motivated by Desperation, Humiliation, and Racism The Federal Law Agencies Demonized Marijuana due to the Fact Latinos (Primarily Mexicans) were the Key demographic of Marijuana Smokers along with Jazz Musicians (aka African Americans) at the Time. And Thus REEFER MADNESS WAS BORN.

       

Not only was REEFER MADNESS a Campaign of Pure Propaganda and Lies focusing Heavily on the Threat that Pot Smoking Minorities posed to the White Man’s way of Life. Marijuana They said would Not Only Lead to Instant Addiction, Insanity, Crime, and Death to those Who Used it, and that Directly put America’s (White) Youth, as well as (White) Women in Harms Way. Thus the Evils of Alcohol were turned into the Evils of Marijuana.

Then eventually Marijuana was Illegal on the Federal Level and the Raging Fire of Reefer Madness subsided to a Pile of Smoldering Embers after Marijuana was made Illegal. That was until Ronald Regan the D-List Actor turned D-List Politician took office as the President of the United States in 1980. Regan was the one Who Declared the War on Drugs and the First Drug His New Drug War Targeted was Marijuana. The Flames of Reefer Madness jumped back to Life to become a Full on Bonfire of Misinformation, Propaganda, and Blatant Lies perpetuated by The combination of Government and Law Enforcement Agencies.

Now in 2019 with 2/3 of the 50 States that comprise America have Legal Medical or Recreational Marijuana (though it is still bastardized and Illegal on the Federal Level) gave way to Exposing all the Propaganda and Lies that The Government had been Force Feeding the American Public starting in 1933 and then Resurrected with Regan’s War on Drugs. It also had allowed for the Positive Effects of Marijuana have come to Light through New Unrestricted Scientific Studies. With all this You’d think the Booze Vs. Buds argument would have been rendered Moot, but Alas No. There still some Old School Drug War Dinosaurs wondering the Land desperately trying to Fan the Flames of the Anti-Marijuana Movement.

For All Those Dinosaurs and the Misinformed, or Naysayers here’s just a Short List of Facts on the Subject.

       

BOOZE:

According to the 2013 YRBS, the most COMMONLY ABUSED DRUG among Teenagers is ALCHOL. Alcohol is in Fact a Drug as the American Medical Association defines a Drug as “Any and All Mind or Mood Altering Substance”. In the Past 30 Days Alone 35% of High Schoolers admired They Drank Alcohol, 21% took part in BINGE Drinking, 10% Drove Drunk, and 22% said They had gotten in a Car with a Driver who had also been Drinking.

A LARGE Proportion of Interpersonal VIOLENCE is related to Alcohol. 80% of Murders, Aggravated Assaults, Domestic Violence, and Rapes are related to Alcohol Consumption.

Alcohol Offenses constitute the LARGEST Single Arrest Category which includes Public Drunkenness, Public Urination, Indecent Exposure, Disorderly Conduct, Vagrancy Charges, and Drunk Driving.

        

A LARGE proportion of Automobile FATALITIES are Related to Alcohol Use. in 2013, 10,076 (31%) of Fatal Car Accidents were Alcohol Related. The National Highway TrafficSafety Administration cites Alcohol as the MOST Pervasive SINGLE FACTOR found in Fatal Highway Accidents.

Alcohol is DANGEROUS TO YOUR HEALTH. Alcohol leads to Alcoholism, Diabetes, Heart Problems, Kidney Issues, and Wet Brain just to Name a Few. Alcohol Kills approximately 88,000 People Per Year, which is MORE than ANY OTHER DRUG besides Nicotine which Kills 480,000 People a Year. 4,300 of the 88,000 Fatalities are due to Underage Drinking.

People who Drink are more likely to Engage in Sexual Activity, have Unprotected Sex, Have Sex with a complete Stranger (The preverbal One Night Stand/Hook Up), or be the Victim OR Perpetrator of a Sexual Assault (aka Rape.)

MARIJUANA:

Today there are OVER 2 MILLION Americans incarcerated in the Prison System making America’s Prison Population the LARGEST IN THE ENTIRE WORLD. Over 350,000 of the 2 Million Inmates are Serving Time for Drug Offenses. It has been proven that sending Drug Offenders to Rehab is FAR More Beneficial than Imprisonment since the Crime is a Symptom of the Sickness of Addiction. Prisons are basically just Collages for Convicts where Low Level Offenders can Learn how to be Major Criminals with Tutorials in Drug Dealing, Car Jacking, Identity Theft, Gang Banging, Murder, Rape, and that’s just for Starters.

10 States still have SEVERE collateral Sanctions for Marijuana Offenders. Florida has the MOST SEVERE Sanctions in regards to Illegal Marijuana Offenders (Florida Legalized Medical Marijuana in 2017). Possible Sanctions include a Barred on Educational Aid, Barred from being a Foster Parent, Denial of Housing Assistance, Suspension of Driver’s License, Barred from Voting, Barred from Serving on a Jury, Lost Job Opportunities in the Medical Field, and Barred from Possessing a Fire Arm.

        

Over the past 4 Decades, the Federal and State Governments have spent a WHOPPING 1 TRILLION DOLLARS on the War on Drugs. Imagine what that money could have been used for like Repairing Infrastructure, Education, Healthcare, Poverty, Cancer Research Etc.

In 2015, 61% of American Voters believed Marijuana should be Legalized on the Federal Level. in 2019 the Number of American Voters believe Marijuana should be Legalized.

72% of American Voters Believe Marijuan should be Decriminalized, and there should be a FINE NOT TIME for Marijuana Possession.

Absurdia Providing The Finest Dining in Exorbitant Opulence: The Menu’s Historical Intro

Welcome to Absurdia,

We hope you enjoy your night here with us at Absurdia where we provide the premier in the finest of fine dinning experience. Absurdia was built originally in 1414 here in Historic Trendillia Pretentious Creek, Maine.

Back in the Year 1414 The Absurdia Building was Pretentious Creek’s Major Manure Factory, and continued on as such until 1515 when what was then named The MannCox Magnificent Manure Manufacturers burned down due to accidental arson.

The Absurdia Building was rebuilt 17 years latter on the exact same site and the exact same size in 1532 were it served as the Local Village Common House where the towns folk would congregate to discuss all matter of town issues and politics.

The Absurdia Building was again transformed in 1616 when the Local Town decided to all become Haagarians (a early form of communism), and abandoned Absurdia. This time Asurdia was reincarnated as the Melvin Family Meat Packing and Butchery Warehouse.

After 88 hardworking years of back breaking toil, and undying commitment Marvin Melvin (the Patriarch of the Melvin Family Meat Packing and Butchery Warehouse) finally became famous for selling an impeccable product. MP&BW became known far and wide for Providing only the most superior steaks, and commanding cuts of meat.

It was then as soon as the Family Business was a undenied success in 1704 that Marvin Melvin immediately shut the family business down, moved back home to Illard Idaho, and spent the rest of his days fishing for Delaware River Eels.

Next The Absurdia Building was the Premier Bone Grinding Mill this side of the Mississippi in 1705. When the Industrial Fans (circa 1919) are on full force in the sweltering Summers the fans dislodge some of the still remaining caked on Bone Dust that’s compiled in compacted layers upon the buildings ceiling. This antique Bone Dust helps to enhance Absurdia’s Food’s flavor profiles, and it provides a truly once in a lifetime mouth feel. The Bone Mill sadly closed its doors in 1818 after a it was discovered by the local Authorities that the proprietors of The Bone Mill were in fact Cannibals who used the Bone Mill to dispose of the Bones of They’re Victims.

The Absurdia Building had a following streak of good luck when it purchased and turned into a Brewery in the late Winter of 1819 by The Boozy Brothers. The Boozy Brothers were German Immigrants decended from a long, and prestigious line of Master Brewers. The Boozy Brother brand of Beer was an instant success and the brewery thrived. That was until Prohibition of Alcohol was passed in 1920 causing the Brewery to close its doors, and the Boozy Brothers ended up moving to Latvia to raise Domestic Wildebeests for Their Milk.

In 1927 the Absurdia Building was used by The McShiner Clan who ran an illegal Moonshine Operation until Their main Stills ruptured during the fermentation process leading to a massive fire that burned for a week strait (fueled by all the Moonshine that had been stock piled inside over several months.) The fire was so bright it was said it could be seen from the Town of Semisuk a whole 111 miles away.

The Absurdia Building was then acquired by Cain and Able’s Biblical Sausage Company who manufactured Saul’s Devine Sausages for countless customers around the globe. The company enjoyed international success until 1938 when in a tragic turn of events Cain murdered Able over the Secret Family Recipe for Their famed Sausages.

With the end of The Great Depression the Absurdia went through several other transitions over the remaining years until Today.

In 1939 the newly renovated Absurdia Building was owned and operated as a Bierliebhaber’s Beer Hall by the one, and only Mister Ivan Bierliebhaber.  Mr. Bierliebhaber remained the Proprietor until he decided to suddenly retire when his Great, Great Grandfather was born in 1944.

The Absurdia Building then sat Vacant for a year, and became inhabited by Bums, Hobo’s, and other various Ne’er-do-wells who referred to the building as “A Home for the Homeless”.

In 1945 The Absurdia Building was bought by The State of Maine, and turned into at the Salvation Soup Kitchen employing many of its past residents as kitchen staff. The Soup Kitchen remained functional until 1955 when the Bowling For Soup Program was initiated throughout the entire State itself.

The next phase in the Absurdia Building’s long legacy started in 1955 when a growing Cured Meat company by the name of  Carnes Curadas out of Lisbon Portugal. The Carnes Curdadas was solely responsible for the introduction of Beef (and Other types of) Jerky to America.

Canes Curdadas produced over 400 different types of Portuguese Jerkies including: Beef, Venison, Chicken, Lobster, Quail, Beaver, Octopus, Badger, Bison, Trout, Jellyfish,Snapping Turtle, Alligator, Rattle Snake, Bat, Flying Squirrel, and Chupacabra for example. Carnes Curdadas moved out of The Absurdia Building to Open a Store in DisneyWorld in the spring of 1966.

In 1966 The Absurdia Building became the per project of Entrepreneurial Vincent Von Dire who envisioned it as Live Music Venue he named simply the  Psychedelic. And to this day The Absurdia Restaurant boasts the largest collection of Celebrity Vomit Stains in the Northern Hemisphere.

If you look hard enough (in fact one year the Owners of Absurdia made a Charity Scavenger Hunt using the Stains Creator as clue) you can see vomit stains from the likes of Jim Morrison, Hunter S. Thompson, Freddie Mercury, David Bowie, Robert Plant, Janis Joplin, Any Warhol, Lenny Bruce and MORE!

In 1977 The Psychedelic was forced to shut its doors when owner Vincent Von Dire accidentally overdosed by drinking 8 ounces of the extremely potent Flower Power LSD mistaking it for a Gin and Tonic.

The Absurdia Building then was reborn as Skeeter’s Roller Rink and Pinball Arcade on November 5, 1977. Skeeter’s became wildly popular especially among the local youth who were damn well tired of underage drinking followed by Cow tipping every weekend.

In 1979 two years after opening Skeeter’s owner  Jimmy “Skeeter” Watson started hosting a Town Roller Derby League featuring his own team called The Skeet Shooters (who became League Champs in 1980 through the 1985 season). This made Skeeters the number one source of entertainment in the all of Maine’s  17,017 Counties. Unfortunately what put Skeeter’s on the Map would also be its downfall.

On the Night of September 18, 1985 Skeeter’s was shut down premaritally by the Federal Authorities when a violent, and deadly Roller Derby Riot broke out and quickly spread into the fans in attendance. By the time the Police had the situation under control 1,9767 People had been crushed to death under Roller Skates, and there were 1,980 injured. The Owner was charged with “Unsafe Conditions” as well as “Inciting a Riot” before he fled persecution by running to Alaska to become a Lone Beaver Trapper living off the Land and Beaver Pelt Trade.

In the Fall of 1985 the son of previous owner Vincent Von Dire, Vladimiro Von Dire the CEO of Obscure Films Incorporated. Vladimiro turned the Absurdia Building into an Niche Movie Theater specializing in B-Horror films, Foreign Films, Exploitation Films, Banned Films, Rare Hard To Find Films, Troma Films, Cult Films, and Films by up and coming underground film makers. Vladimiro christened his Theater The Obscura Ocular.

Even though the Theater didn’t exactly appeal to the general public nor demographic it limped along for years turning a meager profit. Finally Vladimiro closed the Theater, and moved to Hell’s Kitchen NYC in an attempt to work with Independent Film Icon, and Troma Co-Founder Lloyd Kauffman.

The Last film to be shown at Obscura Ocular was a Midnight Double Feature with “Mouth Full of  Maggots” and “Inner Child Abuse” (both by Vladimiro’s estranged Father the Legendary, and highly Controversial Cult Filmmaker Vincent Von Dire) on May 8th 1991.

In July of 1991 The Absurdia Building had yet another new owner in the band Malice who converted it into Their private Recording Studio, but due to the unending volitive nature of the band, constant touring, and a mind boggling  list of Line Up Changes led to the band never actually recording a single note in the $19 million State of the Art Studio

Finally in February 1999 The Absurdia Building was bought by Leviticus Van Trundle of the Van Trundle Family Fortune. Leviticus was the consumate Glutton who’s undying passion for Food drove him to purchase the Building. He  dubbed his new establishment  Absurdia after his favorite Chef Allister Absurdia. Leviticus’s desire was to create, and elevate the Finest Foods from the Four Corners of the Earth under one magnificent roof.

America’s Social Problems: The Sickness of a Dying Nation

What are the top 10 American social problems in my opinion?

They Are:
1. What The war in the middle East
2. Police corruption
3. Financial inequality
4. Out sourcing jobs
5. The legal system
6. The media
7. The healthcare system
8. The Pharmaceutical industry
9. The Prison system
10. The war on drugs

I will briefly summarize my reasoning behind the issues on the aforementioned list in no particular order. I believe them all to be extremely problematic and detriment to American society none being any more or less than the others.

The number one thing that baffles me to no fucking end is America has been at War in Afghanistan from 2001-2014 and less than a year after the 9/11 terror attacks America forgot about. It was like with previous war such as WWI and WWII where America rallied together as a nation against evil and all that shit. Nor was it like the Vietnam war where ACTUAL BATTLE COVERAGE was shown on the nightly news. The media just transitioned back into ignorant oblivion. Not only that but America was at war with Iraq at the EXACT SAME TIME, SIMULTANEOUS FUCKING WARS. IS that all, NOPE. America was involved in the Libyan Cicil War in 2011 in Libya.  America ALSO is currently at war (and has been since 2004) in North-West Pakistan, War in Afghanistan (AGAIN) 2015-Present, AND from 2014 to present America is also at War on ISIL 2014-Present in Iraq/Libya/Syria and Nigeria. My Bottomline: WHERE IS THE MEDIA COVERAGE and WHY THE HELL DON’T AMERICANS ACKNOWLEDGE THEIR COUNTRY IS STILL WARING IN THE MIDDLE EAST?! I digress for now.

When it comes to the issue of outsourcing its a doubled edged sword to say the least. While the outsourcing of American jobs created a massive nation wide unemployment crisis (that all but eliminated the American middle class.) slowly American corporations are bringing jobs back stateside. Yet while American corporations are bringing jobs back to the U.S. they are paying their employees half or less of their previous salary while working them three times as hard with few to no benefits. In the end American employees are being exploited so big companies can save on shipping costs.

All I will say on the subject of financial inequality is it has NEVER BEEN GREATER. With the near destruction of the Middle Class due to outsourcing, shitty Market, and Predatory Loans America has never come closer to being one of the 3rd world Counties we have Charity Ads for (Think “For just the price of a cup of coffee you can provide food, education and healthcare for….”) Financial Equality has also been exacerbated by the increasing commercialism of the American public for increasing profits. YOUR PAYING TO BE ALIVE. CAN YOU SAY HEALTH INSURANCE?!

The War on drugs has been and continues to be a complete undeniable failure. Even Mexico who was America’s tag team partner after 40 years admitted the war was lost mainly due to the way it was being fought. Drugs are not living things so really how the fuck do you declare war with inanimate objects so to speak?! Dealing with the addiction instead of fighting it (again declaring war upon a disease/mental disorder) We already saw alcohol prohibition not only FAIL SPECTACULARLY but also it had serious side effects like ORGANIZED CRIME because the moral to this twisted tail is PEOPLE WILL DRINK NO MATTER WHAT. It should be painfully obvious that the cliche “those who don’t learn from history are doomed to repeat it” applies here when it comes to the war on drugs. Yet not only has the war on drugs failed so monumentally, but the Big AMERICAN Pharmaceutical Companies along with the FDA caused/created the current Opiate Addiction.

Why You Ask could this happen? Pharmaceutical companies created SYNTHESIZED MAN MADE HEROIN in many shapes and names Vicodin, Oxycontin, Percocet, Fentanyl (patches) and the FDA allowed the Consumer Market to be FLOODED with BILLIONS OF NEW PRESCRIPTIONS without fully examining or learning the problematic issue of addiction they just wanted TO CASH IN AS FAST AS POSSIBLE at the expense of the American Public. I will digress for now.

Accept the AmericanHealthcare System went for helping the sick and injured to TOTAL CAPITALIST MAKEOVER. Patients equal Profits. If you don’t have insurance RAPING YOUR BANK ACCOUNTS while providing LESS AND LESS services. Fucked Up Fact: It Costs $1,200 to $1,500 a DAY to stay in the hospital. THATS JUST FOR THE FUCKING ROOM, THE ACTUAL SPACE and Nothing Else. Hospitals started to charge for EVERYTHING and they charge it all separately. You pay for medications BY PILL hence the joke of the $11 hospital aspirin.
The social problem that I have extreme fucking difficulty examining without personal judgment is the subject of police corruption (which includes police brutality and misconduct as well as corruption and breaking ANY and All was.)
The reason I would be so judgmental on the topic of police corruption is the problem is escalating through out all 50 states of America. Police officers are being charged with planting evidence, thief/robbery, assault, rape and murder.  The COPS have BECOME the CRIMINALS. The cliche for this one is the “If you work with monsters make sure you don’t become one” saying. Thanks to the internet combined with Social Media and the prevalence of Smart Phones equipped with video cameras are exposing rampant illegal police activity increasingly on a daily basis. Also in cases where a corrupt police officer is charged with a crime up to and including murder they are put on paid leave until their court date. THATS A PAID FUCKING VACATION.

Once the police officer ends up in court the prosecutor, District Attorney and the presiding judge all weigh in on the side of the police officer resulting in the police officer being absolved of all charges and sent back to work. YOU GOT IT NO PRISON TIME THEY GET TO CO RIGHT BACK TO THEIR FUCKING JOBS. Virtually none of the corrupt police officers caught and charged with a crime(s) ever serve time in prison unless its time for a sacrificial lamb of a scape goat to “Make an example out of” when the public outrage is at a high. It actually MEANS NOTHING.

Lastly lets address the controversial subject of the  law abiding police officers (referred to as “the good cops”) who have never broken a single law protect the corrupt police officers under the accepted “Code of Silence” This meaning quite simply the good police officers will not report or assist in the prosecution of corrupt police officers no matter how egregious the charges or conduct. So I’m calling HUMONGOUS BULLSHIT THERE. Its a Real Life Get Out of Jail Free Card for corrupt cops.

When it comes to the Legal System all I will say for now anyways. When I got arrested and charged with a Felony I was lucky enough to be able to afford a lawyer with a excellent reputation and connections. The first time I met with him in his office he said the following and I will remember it to the day I fucking die:

“You have to know what where dealing with here. You see there 3 kinds of Laws and there’re Rich People Laws, White People Laws and Minority Laws.” He meant if I had been Rich I’d get off easy, White people can get in trouble, but have the benefit of the court on their side so good chance I wouldn’t serve time and if I was minority I’d be going to jail no if, ands or buts.

As far as the Prison system goes all I can say is Over crowding and inhumane conditions are ongoing problems BUT PRIVATIZING PRISONS a PRISONER FOR PROFIT system your guaranteeing peoples rights will be violated (to keep them in or send them to prison) because your not a defendant YOUR A FUTURE CLIENT/CUSTOMER. CUSTOMER SERVICE AT ITS WORST.

The Media has become a fucking farce. The media stopped doing honest and worthy reporting to cater to the ongoing moronic American Public. The Media humped on wagon with Social Media make both products shittier. Now between biased news, fake fucking news,fluff pieces and FCC it may not have been what America wanted but its what it fucking got. Reality TV was the beginning of the end of all Media. No one cares about the American GI thats killed in the ongoing War, BUT PEOPLE SHIT OVER THE FUCKING KARDASHIANS. Think about it.

America is Cannibalizing Itself replacing the Constitution with Commercialism. Your NO LONGER a citizen of the country of American, you consumer client of American Inc. LLC. The government, the Pharmaceutical companies and Big Business Corporations ARE COMMERCIALIZING EVERY ASPECT OF YOUR LIFE FOR PROFIT.

The America we all came to love is gone, there is no longer an American Dream.
