He Took His Skin Off For Me

Welcome to Today’s FYB Post featuring the 2014 Short Film HE TOOK HIS SKIN OFF FOR ME Written and Directed by Ben Aston. Aston is a London Born Filmmaker Who was Raised in Hong Kong, Australia, Bath, Singapore, and Shanghai.  His First Foray into Directing was a fucking Puppet Show at the Age of 11 that Lasted SO fucking Long it Required a fucking Intermission. After Graduating with a BA in Philosophy from Kings College London He spent a Year Setting up a Production House with Friends, Creating Short Films, Music Videos, and Ads for Political Organizations. This Resulted in a National Broadcast Job, which in turn Paid for Aston’s First Term at the London Film School.

We will Admit that this HE TOOK HIS SKIN OFF FOR ME is Rather fucking Tame for the Type shit We Post Normally but So fucking What?! We like this Short Horror Film  for a Few Reasons First being the Name that Reminds Us of Other Similar Movie Titles like “I Drink Your Blood!” or “I EAT YOUR SKIN”. Secondly it Also happens to Remind Us of One of Our Favorite fucking Movies of all Time the Clive Barker’s Hellraiser Horror Movie Franchise. We mean Seriously what the fuck Else would Someone Think of (instead of the Hellraiser Reference) when the Topic of Skinless People Comes Up for fucks Sake?!

Next We do Enjoy the Fact that HE TOOK HIS SKIN OFF FOR ME is Not a Gore Soaked Splatter Movie, But Man if it fucking was it Be fucking Fantastic. This Short Film falls into the Creepy Asian Horror Movies for while Asian Horror has Gore Movies/Splatter Movies/Torture Porn Out the fucking Wazoo this is the Other Variety. The Second School of Though in Asian Horror if You will is the Creepy Unnerving Mindfuck Horror Genre the Kind of Shit that Crawls into Your Cranium like a Cinematic Parasite. The kind of Horror Movie You simply Can’t Stop thinking About in Spite of How Much You may want To.

Lastly it has the Surreal Insanity Feel that’s Reminiscent of Director David Lynch and being Huge fucking Lynch Fans that’s Definite fucking Works for US. So the Best Way We can Describe this Film is Combine the Surreal Insanity of David Lynch with the Dark Mind of Clive Barker to make the Next Hellraiser Sequel.

Meanwhile it’s Important to Note Our Only Criticism is there Obviously should have been a shit ton More fucking Blood like fucking Buckets of it a Borderline Blood fucking Bath.

Welcome to Today’s FYB Post featuring SAMURI SLASHER or WHEN YOU FORGET TO SAMURI SLAISH THE LIKE BUTTON by Content Creator Who goes by jeftric Who Directed, created, starred, edited by jeftric the SAMURI SLASHER. It appears jeftric is switching His Channel’s Content from Mindless Video Game Bullshit to Horror. SAMURI SLASHER is jeftric’s First Official attempt at Horror and for what it is it’s rather entertaining as First Attempt go.

Now What We got a Kick Out of was the Fact that this is an Absurd Comedy Horror. It’s fucking Obvious by the Duel Titles that it isn’t a Horror Movie meant to Scare the Holy fucking shit Out of the Audience. It reminds Us a Great fucking Deal of Tromp Team Releases that Help Independent and Rather Odd Film Makers get Their Films Made. Trim Releases is NOT to be Confused with Tromp Entreatment that Produces Their Own Unique Brand of Gore Drenched Juvenile Humor Fueled Horror Flicks.

 

 

Plot Summary:

A Teenager is at Home opting to watch New YouTube Videos instead of attending a Party. A Friend of His calls Him and Insists that He watch the News Immediately. The News Broadcaster is Informing the Public of a Psychotic Serial Killer know as “The Samurai Slasher” who is Running Amok Murdering Anyone who hasn’t Hit the like Button on a Particular Youtuber’s  (coryxkensin) New Video within the Next 24 Hours…….

Short Horror Film Friday: PEEPHOLE

Welcome to this Week’s Installment of Short Horror Film Friday Featuring the 2013 Canadian Film PEEPHOLE (2013) Directed and Written by Doug Cook. PEEPHOLE was shown at the Oregon Short Film Festival Film Festival where it Won the Category for the “Best Short Horror Film”, and was an Official Selection for the Short Film Catagory at the Toronto After Dark Film Festival.

Plot:

A Creepy Voyeuristic Motel manager Secretly Films His guests through a Peephole in the Wall of Suite 12. On one Particular Night, He gets in over His head when he Witnesses something Truly Sinister on the Other Side. Will the Motel Manager be able to make it through the Night and Survive His Terrifying Ordeal or is His Fate Already Sealed???

Less Than Human

Hey how the hell are you? Yesterday’s post fell through like a real motherfucker so I (Justin Sane) am here to day. This Post showcases with the 2017 Danish animated Horror/Comedy short film LESS THAN HUMAN by The Animation Workshop and directed by Steffen Bang Lindholm.

Now I must admit two of my favorite books of all fucking time are ANIMAL FARM and NINETEEN EIGHTY-FOUR both written by none other than the legendary author George Orwell (the pen name for Eric Arthur Blair). Both novels are social commentaries about the injustices perpetrated in/by society, human nature, perception, corrupt government, abuses of power,  and freedom/personal freedom. So naturally when I was tipped off about LESS THAN HUMAN I was an instant fan from the fucking get go.

FUN FACT: The film went through some working titles including “Zobihubie” when it was first pitched. Later it was name “The Story Behind” before the crew finally settled on the title “Less Than Human” which best described the film.

Synopsis: In the aftermath of a zombie outbreak, zombies are cured and exiled to secluded camps. There has been talk about rehabilitating post-zombies back into society. Steve, a freelance journalist reporting on the case, thinks the zombies still pose a threat to society. He ventures into one of these camps to prove to the world that rehabilitation is out the question.

Short Horror Film Friday: Too Many Cooks

Welcome to this Week’s Installment of Short Horror Film Friday. This Week We will be Featuring the Dark Comedy Surreal Horror Short Film Too Many Cooks!

Too Many Cooks Originally Aired as a Special during  Adult Swim’s Infomercials Block on October 28, 2014, at 4:00am ET. It was Created, Written, and Directed by Casper Kelly, and Produced by Williams Street. After its Original Airing, Too Many Cooks went on to become a Viral Video Online, and was Shown Repeatedly Each Night at Midnight ET during the Week of November 11, 2014

                   

Premis: 

The Video begins as a Parody of Opening Credits Sequences of the 1970’s, 1980’s and 1990’s American Sitcom Comedies, then Television Crime Dramas, Prime Time Soap Operas, Saturday Morning Cartoons, Super Hero Live Action Series, Slasher Films, and Science Fiction, with each of them Gradually Bleeding into the Next. Particular Focus is put on a Slasher Film Villain, Who is Hidden in the Background of Several Early Shots but eventually Starts Killing the Other Characters with a Menacing Machete. The Opening Credits Sequence Ends after about 10 Minutes and Transitions into the “Episode”, with all the Characters from the Opening Standing in the One House; the Short Ends approximately 10 Seconds Later, Cutting to the Closing Credits before a Full Line of Dialogue can be Spoken.

Brief Plot Summery:

Gless tells the Story of a Young Woman who Suffers from Debilitating Mental Illness (more than likely Schizophrenia)  which causes Her to have Frequent Hallucinations and Distorts her Memories.

One of these Hallucinatory Characters is Bless, a Ghost Like Girl who Manipulates Gless into Committing Violent Acts.
