Welcome to Today’s FYB Post the Animated Short Film DINNER FOR FEW by Award Winning Director and Animator Nassos Vakalis which an Allegorical Depiction of Society. I in Particular find DINNER FOR FEW to be Interesting and Entertaining is the Social Commentary that Reminds Me of Two of My Favorite fucking Books of All fucking Time. Those Two Books Being Animal Farm by George Orwell which is a Scathing Criticism on the Flaws and Failure of Communism. The Other is the Graphic Novel MAUS by Art Spiegelman which Depicts the Author’s Interviewing His Father about His Experiences as a Holocaust Survivor. Both Books and DINNER FOR FEW rely Heavily on Symbolism which I personally enjoy the fuck Out of (Especially Using Specific Animals to Embody Different Kinds of People. Example The Rich and Powerful) those that do per Animal Farm are Depicted in all 3 Works as PIGS.

The Best Part of Symbolism and DINNER FOR FEW is it actually makes You fucking think in the fucking age of Smart Phone Zombies and Laptop Ghouls. Swear to fucking God all the shit They put Out and Dare to call Entertainment is MINDLESS FUCKING DRIVIL. The Point and Click/Touch/Swipe Technology is causing Humanity to Actually De-fucking-evolve into Retarded, Mindless, Cavemen. Think I’m being over fucking Dramatic well then Ponder the fuck Out of This. Emojis are and have Always Been the Digital Equivalent of fucking Cave Paintings (No Hieroglyphs is too Advanced at this Point to be fucking Comparable).

Our View: DINNER FOR FEW does have One Unique Aspect that Sets it Apart from the Two Aforementioned Books, and that is it Depicts the Cycle of Life in Society as Opposed to just Commenting on the Social Situation/Issue/Problem at Hand. DINNER FOR FEW reminds Me of Two Sayings that for Me go Hand in Fucking Hand and They are the Following:

  1. “The Rich get Richer and the Poor get Poorer.” This Serving as the Societal Circle of Life on the Macro Level.
  2. “Don’t Piss on My Leg and Tell Me it’s Raining.” The Day to Day Injustices in Society and Those Affected by Them on the Micro Level.

The Symbolism as We see it:

  • Pigs: Well Obviously as I mentioned before the Pigs are Symbolic of the Wealthy, Privileged, Greedy, Gluttonous, Self Serving Elitist Assholes Who Only give shit about Themselves.
  • The Chef: Stands for the System that Enables the Pigs without Question its His Only function is to Blindly Serve the Pigs.
  • The Cats: Represent Average Citizens/Every Day People aka Anyone Who isn’t a fucking Pig.
  • White Lion: Is Indicative of Revolution as the Cats Unite against the Common Enemy the Pigs and Revolt Against the Tyrant Swine. Not Only that But the Feline Uprising enables the Cats to Not Only Stand Up Against the Pigs but to Also Exact Revenge in the Form of a Brutal Blood Soaked and Murderous Massacre.
  • The Lion Sleeping: is Symbolic of Peace and in this Case the Peace is that Peace has been Restored to the Land so to Speak.
  • Chef Killing the Lion and Kittens: Represents the Cycle of a Sick Society Continues it’s Never Ending Circle where Unavoidably things will Always Remain the Same.

During dinner, “the system” feeds the few who consume all the resources while the rest survive on scraps. Inevitably, the struggle for what remains leads to catastrophic change. The offspring of this transition turns out not to be a sign of hope, but the spitting image of the parents.

Greeting and welcome to Introduction to Cannibalism 101: The Different Kinds of Cannibalism with Otto Rageous .

The practice of cannibalism has existed since the very dawn of humanity. From the Beginning from Cavemen through out the entire history of man al the way up to modern day. This is not a general lesson in/on cannibalism, it’s a specific lesson on the various kinds of cannibalism/cannibals that exist. Cannibalism is considered by a majority of Societies around the world as the most extreme Taboo a person could engage in. It’s ironic that humanity eats countless species of animals for sustenance, but when it comes to people eating other people its unacceptable, demonized, condemned, and made illegal. There’s a strange double standard surrounding the practice(s) of cannibalism since mankind is the only animal on the entire earth that kills one another for anything other than food. Thus the unofficial rule that came to be is murdering someone is extremely bad, yet eating someone is still far worse.

Cannibalism:(noun) The practice of eating the flesh of your own species/Kind.

Etymology: The word “cannibalism” is derived from cannibles, the Spanish name for Caribs, a West Indies tribe that may have been practicing cannibals, from the Spanish canibal or caribou  “A savage”. The term Anthropology, meaning “eating humans” is also used for human cannibalism.

Ritualistic Cannibalism: In acts of ritual or customary cannibalism, specified members of a society consume all or part of a certain body parts, which are believed to contain and convey attributes of the deceased.

Survival Cannibalism: Survival cannibalism is innate in humans; people will resort to eating a fellow human being under dire circumstances.

Sacrificial Cannibalism: In dire circumstances a group of people may implement a system one of the most common is drawing straws. Members of a group draw “straws” to see which member of the group will subsequently be killed and eaten. As a willing participant each member of the group is in agreement if they are the one with the shortest straw that they will sacrifice themselves for the betterment of the group. It’s important to note that this grim system of selection is a voluntarily decision made by every member of the group unlike with Survival cannibalism.

                   

Necro/ Post-Mortuary Cannibalism: The consumption of part or all of a corpse by members of its own kind. This is not limited to flesh alone as it includes the consumption of internal organs as well.

Auntocannibalism: Self-cannibalism or the practice of eating oneself. This also includes things like eating ones finger nails or a mother eating the placenta after giving birth.

Sexual Cannibalism: Is usually considered a psychosexual disorder and involves individuals’ sexualizing the consumption of another human being’s Flesh.

Erotophonophilia (type of Sexual Cannibalism): Often referred to as “lust murder” , a sexual paraphilia in which individuals have extreme violent fantasies and typically kill their victim during sex and/or mutilate their victim’s sexual organs. In some cases, the erotophonophiles will eat some of their victim’s body parts (usually post-mortem).

                   

Vorarephilia (type of Sexual Cannibalism): This type of sexual cannibalism has been increasingly documented in the scientific literature over the last decade. This is a sexual paraphilia in which individuals are sexually aroused by 1. the idea of being eaten 2. eating another person, and/or 3. observing this process for sexual gratification. However, most vorarephiles’ behavior is fantasy based, although there have been real life cases such as Armin Meiwes, the so-called ‘Rotenburg Cannibal’.

Gynophagia (Sexually Cannibalistic Behavior): A sexual fetish that involves fantasies of cooking and consumption of human females (gynophagia literally means ‘woman eating’).

Parthenophagia (Sub Type of Gynophagia): This is the practice of eating young girls or virgins. Several lust murderers were also know to consume the flesh of young virgins, most notably serial Killer, pedophile, and sexual sadist Albert Fish.

Sexual Autophagy (type of Sexual Cannibalism): Refers to the eating of one’s own flesh for sexual pleasure.

                   

Filial Cannibalism: Occurs when an adult individual of a species consumes all or part of the young of its own species or immediate offspring. This is primarily applied to the animal kingdom but the fact remains there is no age limit on human victims of Cannibalism. There are plenty of documented cases of human cannibalism involving adults eating children and babies (in addition to eating adults) from around the globe.

Symbolic Cannibalism: One that resides in the abstract, spiritual realm where no actual flesh is consumed. An example of this is Christian Mass.

  • Pathological Cannibalism:  A pathological urge to devour human flesh, occasionally observed in severe schizophrenics and similar metal disorders. In psychoanalytic theory, cannibalistic impulses are associated with the fixation at the oral-biting phase of psychosexual development. This category includes several Serial Killers such as:
  • Albert Fish ( The Grey Man”)
  • Ed Gein (The fictional characters Leatherface from The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Buffalo Bill from the Movie Silence of the Lambs, and Norman Bates from Alford Hitchcock’s Psycho were all inspired by Ed Gein and his crimes.)
  • Jeffery Dahmer (“The Milwaukee Cannibal”)
  • Rudy Eugene “The Miami Cannibal”
  • Andrei Chikatilo “The Ukrainian Monster”
  • “The Crossbow Cannibal” Stephen Griffiths,
  • Luka Magnotta (The Canadian Cannibal. Most known as the subject of the popular Netflix documentary Don’t Fuck With Cats).

                   

Endocannibalism (Learned Cannibalistic Behavior): Community of like minded people consume a member of their group pre or post mortem.

Exocannibalism (Learned Cannibalistic Behavior): The consuming of flesh of someone from outside of the group. Usually as a celebration of victory over an opposing enemy.

Thus ends our education on eating human flesh for now, and keep an eye out for future Cannibalism posts as there will be more and varied. The lesson here is from survival to serial killers cannibalism is more prevalent in the world than you’d dare to think.

Two Different Perspectives For The Same Situation

While Humans have Five different senses (Sight, Smell, Touch, Taste, and Hearing) Yet Ninety Percent of all of the Information We learn/observe  from the World Around Us comes Solely from Sight. Considering this it’s Safe to Say Life is all a Matter of Perspective. The Definition of Perspective is as Follows: Perspective: A Particular Attitude Towards or Way of Regarding Something; A Point of View. What People believe to be Good, Bad, or Indifferent is just a matter of Their personal perspective pertaining to the Subject at Hand.

For all Intents and Purposes We will use the Subject of “Tipping” to serve as Our Example on the Subject of Perspective. A Tip is Defined as : A Tip of Gratuity is an Extra Sum of Money Paid to Certain Services Workers for a Provided Service. Tip Amounts, as well as Acceptance, Vary in Different Parts of the World. In Some Countries in East Asia such as Japan, Tips are seen as Insulting and can Sometimes be Interpreted as a Bribe.

                    

As We can see Even the Definition or the Concept of Tipping is a Matter of Perspective. In Countries like America Gratuity is taken for Granted as being just a part of Utilizing certain Services (Example: Tipping a Waiter, Uber Driver, or Pizza Delivery Man Etc). Meanwhile in Japan Tips aren’t considered Compensation for a Job Well Done by the Employee. In Japan Gratuity is in fact Perceived Negatively as a Bribe so Straight away We have a Prime Example of a Difference in Perspectives.

Many People Perceive Tipping as a Positive Incentive for Employees in the Service Industry to Provide Acceptional Service to and for Their Customers. An Extremely Similar Positive Perspective is Tipping is a way of Rewarding Someone as a Sign of Appreciation for a Job Well Done. An Incentive is Defined as: Incentive: A Thing that Motivates or Encourages One to do Something. Also People who are in Favor of the Tipping System tend to Tip more than Average as a Way of Attempting to Secure Exceptional Service in the Future. It’s simply Applying the Pavlovian Conditioning (See Pavlov’s Dog) to Human Beings instead of Canines. What We Mean is by Repeatedly Tipping People Well the Consumer is trying to Illicit a Conditioned Response from the Employee. The Consumer wants the Employee to Realize that They Tip Well so that the Employee providing Them Service will Automatically do a Superior Job, and this is because the Workers Know You’re a Big Tipper thus providing an Incentive for Them to Provide Good Service. This is Absolutely No Different than Your Basic Reward System for Positively Reenforcing a Certain Desired Behavior (Example Toilet Training a Child, When They Use the Toilet Properly They are Rewarded, Same Tactics are used in Training Dogs as well).

Meanwhile on the Other End of the Perspective Spectrum a Tipping it is Perceived as a Negative System based on Bribery. First the Word Bribe is Defined as: Bribe: Persuade (Someone) to Act in one’s Favor, Typically Illegally or Dishonestly, bu a Gift of Money or Other Inducement. The Opposite Perspective is a Tip is Not an incentive for Someone to Perform Their Job Duties, but a Self Centered Bribe You offer Someone to Insure Good Service for Yourself Alone. It’s the Old Cliche of a Person getting into a Taxi and Saying “I’m in a real rush so if You can Hurry (aka if You Speed and possibly Violate some Traffic Laws) and Get Me to My Destination as Fast as You Possibly can Theres a Big Tip in it For You.” This is an Incentive its just a Negative Incentive. Its Financial Motivation for an Employee to Bend or Break Company Rules, Certain Applicable Laws, or in Some other Nefariously Way  Insure the Employee disregards Protocol to Provide the Specific Service a Particular Customer Desires. Bottomline its the Age Old Adage “IF You scratch My Back THEN I’ll scratch Yours.”  or Simply Put “IF You Do Something For ME, and I’ll do Something for You in Return” which is the Definition of a Bribe.

               

So in the End We can See that Our Lives Our Likes, Dislikes, Loves, Hates, Opinions, and Judgments are all Based on Our own Personal Perspectives. How We see the Situation dictates How We respond to it or How You Think about a particular Subject be it Positive or Negative in Nature. Your Perspective whatever it may be Dictates Your Perceptions of The World and People Around You at any given Time in Your Life. Having a Vast Variety of Varying Perspectives Not only Challenges, but Demands that We think for Ourselves and Ignore Outside Influences for Once. While We are a Society as a Whole Our Society is made up of Millions of Different People and They’re Different Perspectives We are Not a Collective comprised of Mindless Clones.

The Short Film Series takes place in the Sci Fi Post Apocalyptic Town Known as Autodale where the Citizens are Anything but Normal.

“What is a Model Citizen? A Model Citizen is a providing father. A Model Citizen is a caring mother, all in service of a scrappy, young boy or girl. A Model Child raised by a Model Family, to become a Model Citizen of their own!” This brand-spanking-new installment of the Autodale series follows the lives of the Robinson family; Autodale’s perfect citizens. I’ve wanted to make an animated short film based around the life-cycle of an Autodale citizen/family for a very long time. We’ve only ever seen Autodale through the eyes of children. All of the other short films in the series focus on skeptical children being successfully brainwashed/indoctrinated into complacency with Autodale’s dystopian ways. This short film doesn’t have that arc. This short film is about the parents. These characters have NO DOUBTS about how this system works anymore…”  -David James Armsby-

“Being Pretty”| Dystopian Animated Short Films Series

FYB is Thrilled to bring You the 2017 Animated Short Film “Being Pretty” that was Created by David James Armsby and takes place in the Fictional Town of Autodale. “Being Pretty” is the First Short Film in Armsby’s Autodale Series, and You better believe We will be Posting the ENTIRE Series Periodically in the Near Future.

Plot Summary: The Film Starts with an Average Nuclear Autodale Family (Mother, Father, Daughter, and Son) in Their Home where the Children are watching a Public Service Announcement on TV. The PSA has been created by the Mysterious Powers That Be Who Run Autodale and Dictate Daily Life to its Citizens. Autodale is a Picture Perfect Place to Live where the Residents Champion Beauty to the Point of Obsession and Persecution of Those Who Fail to Fit the Autodale Mold.

               

The PSA Starts stating “Hello, Citizens of Autodale! You are Pretty. Your Neighbors, Friends, and Family are also Pretty. But Sadly, Not Everyone is Pretty. Some are Ugly…We, here at Autodale, Do Not want Uglies.” Thusly Anyone Deemed Ugly which constitutes more than Physical Appearance as in Autodale Ugly appears to Include Anyone Considered Undesirable or Defective (examples Ugly, Fat, Old, Deaf, Blind, Gay Etc.)

Armsby had the Following to Say About Being Pretty:

“This animation was extremely fun to work on. I definitely enjoy doing my own original stuff over Overwatch/Rick and Morty Stuff. I hope that this (Like Redone) does well so I can continue doing original animations. It’s so much more fun to explore my own personal creativity. Building this world from the ground up was awesome and I’m quite proud of the final results. This Short explores themes of individualism, innocence, and brainwashing which were very fun to play with; something I don’t think I could do with the restrictive nature of a fan-film. Really hope yo guys enjoy it!”

“Metachaos, from Greek Meta (beyond) and Chaos (the abyss where the eternally-formless state of the universe hides), indicates a primordial shape of ameba, which lacks in precise morphology, and it is characterized by mutation and mitosis. In fact the bodies represented in METACHAOS, even though they are characterized by an apparently anthropomorphous appearance, in reality they are without identity and conscience. They exist confined in a spaceless and timeless state, an hostile and decadent hyperuranium where a fortress, in perpetual movement, dominates the landscape in defense of a supercelestial, harmonic but fragile parallel dimension. In its destructive instinct of violating the dimensional limbo, the mutant horde penetrates the intimacy of the fortress, laying siege like a virus. Some Drug War Dinosaurs WON’T DIE.

Some Lingering Dinosaurs Left Over from the Failed War on Drugs refuse to Face the Fact They’re facing Extinction. The War on Drugs has been a Colossal waste of Time, Money, Man Power, Resources, and Ended in Horrific Failure. The Cliche goes “Those Who Don’t Learn from History are Doomed to Repeat it” and That Cliche definitely applies to America. You think after the Spectacular Shit Show that was Prohibition The American Government would have learned the Simple Lesson of PEOPLE WILL CONTINUE TO DO THINGS THEY WANT TO DO EVEN IF THEY ARE ILLEGAL.

Prohibition surrendered to Defeat in 1933, but the Government had a Serious Public Relations Disaster because Prohibition Failed. Not only did Prohibition Fail in its Mission to Stop Americans from Drinking it also gave Rise to Organized Crime. Along with the Rise of Organized Crime came Countless Murders and Assassinations as Bootleggers fought for Territory and Customers A Like.

So The Governmental Law Agencies had to find a New Public Enemy Number One to Save Face from Prohibitions Failure, and Distract the Public from the Monumental Failure that Prohibition turned out to be. Motivated by Desperation, Humiliation, and Racism The Federal Law Agencies Demonized Marijuana due to the Fact Latinos (Primarily Mexicans) were the Key demographic of Marijuana Smokers along with Jazz Musicians (aka African Americans) at the Time. And Thus REEFER MADNESS WAS BORN.

       

Not only was REEFER MADNESS a Campaign of Pure Propaganda and Lies focusing Heavily on the Threat that Pot Smoking Minorities posed to the White Man’s way of Life. Marijuana They said would Not Only Lead to Instant Addiction, Insanity, Crime, and Death to those Who Used it, and that Directly put America’s (White) Youth, as well as (White) Women in Harms Way. Thus the Evils of Alcohol were turned into the Evils of Marijuana.

Then eventually Marijuana was Illegal on the Federal Level and the Raging Fire of Reefer Madness subsided to a Pile of Smoldering Embers after Marijuana was made Illegal. That was until Ronald Regan the D-List Actor turned D-List Politician took office as the President of the United States in 1980. Regan was the one Who Declared the War on Drugs and the First Drug His New Drug War Targeted was Marijuana. The Flames of Reefer Madness jumped back to Life to become a Full on Bonfire of Misinformation, Propaganda, and Blatant Lies perpetuated by The combination of Government and Law Enforcement Agencies.

Now in 2019 with 2/3 of the 50 States that comprise America have Legal Medical or Recreational Marijuana (though it is still bastardized and Illegal on the Federal Level) gave way to Exposing all the Propaganda and Lies that The Government had been Force Feeding the American Public starting in 1933 and then Resurrected with Regan’s War on Drugs. It also had allowed for the Positive Effects of Marijuana have come to Light through New Unrestricted Scientific Studies. With all this You’d think the Booze Vs. Buds argument would have been rendered Moot, but Alas No. There still some Old School Drug War Dinosaurs wondering the Land desperately trying to Fan the Flames of the Anti-Marijuana Movement.

For All Those Dinosaurs and the Misinformed, or Naysayers here’s just a Short List of Facts on the Subject.

       

BOOZE:

According to the 2013 YRBS, the most COMMONLY ABUSED DRUG among Teenagers is ALCHOL. Alcohol is in Fact a Drug as the American Medical Association defines a Drug as “Any and All Mind or Mood Altering Substance”. In the Past 30 Days Alone 35% of High Schoolers admired They Drank Alcohol, 21% took part in BINGE Drinking, 10% Drove Drunk, and 22% said They had gotten in a Car with a Driver who had also been Drinking.

A LARGE Proportion of Interpersonal VIOLENCE is related to Alcohol. 80% of Murders, Aggravated Assaults, Domestic Violence, and Rapes are related to Alcohol Consumption.

Alcohol Offenses constitute the LARGEST Single Arrest Category which includes Public Drunkenness, Public Urination, Indecent Exposure, Disorderly Conduct, Vagrancy Charges, and Drunk Driving.

        

A LARGE proportion of Automobile FATALITIES are Related to Alcohol Use. in 2013, 10,076 (31%) of Fatal Car Accidents were Alcohol Related. The National Highway TrafficSafety Administration cites Alcohol as the MOST Pervasive SINGLE FACTOR found in Fatal Highway Accidents.

Alcohol is DANGEROUS TO YOUR HEALTH. Alcohol leads to Alcoholism, Diabetes, Heart Problems, Kidney Issues, and Wet Brain just to Name a Few. Alcohol Kills approximately 88,000 People Per Year, which is MORE than ANY OTHER DRUG besides Nicotine which Kills 480,000 People a Year. 4,300 of the 88,000 Fatalities are due to Underage Drinking.

People who Drink are more likely to Engage in Sexual Activity, have Unprotected Sex, Have Sex with a complete Stranger (The preverbal One Night Stand/Hook Up), or be the Victim OR Perpetrator of a Sexual Assault (aka Rape.)

MARIJUANA:

Today there are OVER 2 MILLION Americans incarcerated in the Prison System making America’s Prison Population the LARGEST IN THE ENTIRE WORLD. Over 350,000 of the 2 Million Inmates are Serving Time for Drug Offenses. It has been proven that sending Drug Offenders to Rehab is FAR More Beneficial than Imprisonment since the Crime is a Symptom of the Sickness of Addiction. Prisons are basically just Collages for Convicts where Low Level Offenders can Learn how to be Major Criminals with Tutorials in Drug Dealing, Car Jacking, Identity Theft, Gang Banging, Murder, Rape, and that’s just for Starters.

10 States still have SEVERE collateral Sanctions for Marijuana Offenders. Florida has the MOST SEVERE Sanctions in regards to Illegal Marijuana Offenders (Florida Legalized Medical Marijuana in 2017). Possible Sanctions include a Barred on Educational Aid, Barred from being a Foster Parent, Denial of Housing Assistance, Suspension of Driver’s License, Barred from Voting, Barred from Serving on a Jury, Lost Job Opportunities in the Medical Field, and Barred from Possessing a Fire Arm.

        

Over the past 4 Decades, the Federal and State Governments have spent a WHOPPING 1 TRILLION DOLLARS on the War on Drugs. Imagine what that money could have been used for like Repairing Infrastructure, Education, Healthcare, Poverty, Cancer Research Etc.

In 2015, 61% of American Voters believed Marijuana should be Legalized on the Federal Level. in 2019 the Number of American Voters believe Marijuana should be Legalized.

72% of American Voters Believe Marijuan should be Decriminalized, and there should be a FINE NOT TIME for Marijuana Possession.
