The Insanity That Is AlanTutorial

Welcome to this Monday’s FYB Post where We’re going to do Something Different than the Past Several Mondays. Today’s Post features and Pertains to Alantutorial a tutorial based Youtube Channel that follows tutorial videos of a Mild Mannered Adult Man Named Alan. However We can tell there is Something Not Quite Right with Alan and His Mental State begins to go from Bad to Worse. The Viewer can see Alan’s Sanity Slipping Farther and Farther Away.  Alan’s Tutorial Videos start to become increasingly more Disturbing with every Passing Day and Every New Video.

                    

Alan Tutorials are Nothing Less than Absurd, and aren’t Practical for Anything. The Production Value is utterly Shitty with Wobbly Camera, Total Lack of any sort of Editing, and Half the Time Alan doesn’t seems to even grasp the concept of His own Subject Matter. There are also several Hypothesizes surrounding Alan’s rather Odd Behavior, Speech, and Videos as Well. Here They are in Random Order:

  • Alan is Experiencing some sort of Arrested Development.
  • Alan possibly has a Mental Disorder (example Multiple Personality Disorder).
  • Alan is Mentally Handicapped.
  • Alan has suffered some Horrible Trauma that He can’t come to Grips With Which In Spite of being a Adult Talks like a Little Child.
  • Alan has Asperger’s Syndrom/Autism.

Now the One Hypothesis suggesting Alan has a Autism/Asperger’s Syndrome  seems to be the Most Likely but Why is that? In one of the Early Videos Alan has a Tab on His Web Browser that Notes that it is Autism Awareness Month. Now of course some say that its just a Coincidence, but I hold favor with Those Who believe it’s a Very Subtle Clue. Although I wouldn’t Rule Out All of the Other Hypothesis as I do think some apply here and There through out the Series.

                  

Also as the Series Progresses Alan’s Life starts to Drastically Change. In the Beginning Videos Alan is simply doing His Weird Tutorials in what appears to be the Bedroom of a Small Apartment. Then there is a Significant Turning Point Where Alan is apparently been Locked out of His Room/Apartment and all of His Possessions have been Packed up for Him. Alan then spends a good amount of Time Homeless and Living in some Near By Woods where He still makes Tutorial Videos as Best He Can. There is One Thing that is Troubling from this Time Period and that is Alan is Heavily Splattered with Blood (and then cumulative Dirt and Grim) that He doesn’t seem to fell the need to Wash Off of Himself.

Then all of a Sudden Alan is Abducted by a Unknown Assailant(s) and Transported to an Unknown Location in the back of for all Intents and Purposes appears to be a Uhaul Type Truck. In the Abduction Video It is also a Disturbing Aspect that is Alan being covered in Blood like He just walked off the Set of a B Horror Movie. Alan ends up being Held Captive for a Duration during which the Captor(s) Provide Alan Supplies for His Tutorials which even in Captivity Alan continues to make. What’s interesting here isn’t just that the Captor(s) provide Alan Supplies, but when Alan is Finished a New Video a One Dollar Bill is Slid to Him under the Door.

                   

Over an Undisclosed amount of Time things slowly start to Deteriorate. The Room Alan is being Held in becomes more and more Filthy with Trash all over the Floor and at one Point the Electricity is Cut Off. We know this by the fact Alan has to use a Flashlight in the Final Videos of the Series. At Last Alan discovers a Hole in the Wall, Crawls Enthusiastically through it existing the room and Freeing Himself.

What happens Ultimately to Alan in the End is a Mystery since His Escape Video was the Last Video Posted to His Youtube Channel. Did Alan set out embarking on Starting a Life of His Own? Did He reunite with His Brother? Did Alan’s Captor’s Catch Him as He made His Get Away once Free from Captivity, or Did His Captor(s) Discover Alan’s Escape and Hunted Him down at which Point They Murdered Him? Sucks to say but these are Questions that will More Likely than Not Never be Answered.

                   

Reoccurring Themes:

  • The Color Blue is a Constant throughout the Series. Examples Include The Blue Mat in the Yoga Tutorial, The Actual Blue Chair, The Red Table Alan Paints Blue while in Captivity, and a Small Hand Painted Picture of the Blue Chair on one of the Walls in the Room Alan is being Held in (“The Story Of T3 Balls Video).
  • The Blue Chair appears in Several Videos, but it First appears in “How To Pick Up A Blue Chair Off The Ground”.  The Blue Chair is also featured in “How To Do Spanish Hair Braids”, “How To Eat A Bag Of Chips”, “How to Pick Up A Huge Amount Of Pencils, and “Do It Yourself Weatherized Hole”
  • Slats of Wood
  • Water (Not Actually Water but a Strange Hair Gel Looking Substance).
  • The Money Man Alan creates in Captivity that He ends up having a Conversation With.
  • The Mysterious Woman who is in Only Two Videos and is only Seen in One. (“How To Escape A Dark Room” and “How To Find A Lake”)

Note Worthy Shit: 

  • In the Video Hard Drive Video Alan mentions that He Lives with His Brother.
  • When it comes to the Mysterious Woman Alan says “Ut-Oh” Extremely Nervously as if He is Afraid of Her and Immediate returns to His Bedroom.. Is She Alan’s Mother or  Alan mentions Early on that He lives with His Brother so His Brother’s Girlfriend? Was She the One that Locked Alan in the Closet (aka Dark Room)? That would at least Explain Why Alan is Afraid of Her. Could the Woman be Alan’s Mother? The Video before Alan is Locked Out He Severely Damages the Bedrooms Ceiling while look for Wooden Slats, and is this Why perhaps He was Locked Out/ Evicted?
  • In the Video “Locked Out of Room” Tutorial Alan can be Heard Whispering future Tutorial Subjects to Himself (while awaiting Help), and one of the Subjects is “How To Kill”. This is Significant because in the Video where Alan is being Abducted in the back of a Shipping Truck He’s Covered in Blood.

                    

  • The Room Alan is kept Captive in doesn’t seem to upset Alan say like being Stuck in a Jail Cell for Example. In fact Alan appears to be quite Content with/in His Surroundings.
  • Alan mentions (Sometimes Several Times in a Single Video) to Subscribe, Like, and Add His Youtube Channel as a Favorite.
  • In the “How To Pick Up A Blue Chair…” Video Alan approaches the fallen Chair as if it were an Actual Person who may be in need of Emergency Medical Help or The way Someone would Act Upon finding an Unconscious and Possibly Dead. Alan appears to be Distressed as He Whimpers and His Voice Keeps Wavering as well as Cracking with Emotion. The Alan Discovering His Dead Mother is Backed by the Video’s Description “If Your Chair is on the Floor here is How to get it Back, and Pick Up all the Pieces of Something Broken and Unfair.”

                   

  • It’s Speculated by Some that Alan’s Captor(s) are Forcing Alan to make Tutorial Videos in Captivity to make Them Money (or Moreover They’re Stealing Alan’s Financial Returns from His Youtube Channel.
  • In the Video “How To Fill A Tiny Bin With Dirt” Alan says at one point “The Military Time Watch You Borrowed from Dad.” This is odd because the Only People Other than Alan in the Series are His Brother (Who We Never See or Hear From), The Unknown Woman (Seen Only Once and Not Heard From), and Alan’s Unknown Captor(s). This is the One and Only Mention of Anyone Else, and it just so Happens to be Alan’s Father.

                   

Symbolism:

  • There Many Hypothesis on What the the Origins of the Blood Covered Alan. Some Think it’s because  Alan Kill His Mom/Brother/Brother’s Girlfriend or Possibly Someone Else. The Other Possibility is Whoever Abducted Alan either Beat Him or They could have Killed Alan’s Family and it’s Their Blood all over Alan.
  • There a Couple Different Hypothesis on the Actual Room Alan is held Captive in. One it’s some Room for Holding Someone Hostage and the Other is Far More Intriguing. The Second Hypothesis is tied Directly to the Topic of the Blood in Some Believe Alan Murdered Someone and has been Taken into Custody by the Authorities or Mental Health Professionals. That would make the Room Alan Alan is a Patient’s Room in a Mental Hospital or Possibly a Mental Asylum for the Criminally Insane if He in Fact Did Kill Someone. Then Again Perhaps after Destroying His Bedroom (and Living in the Woods Homeless)  Alan’s Brother/Mother had Him Institutionalized for Help with His Mental Disorder.

                   

  • There also Two Hypothesis on Why Alan’s Room plunges into complete Squaller during the Last Videos. One is the Captors decided to Leave and Left Alan there to Die. The Other is that the Asylum was Shut Down and Alan was simply Forgotten About.
  • Now when it comes to the Blue Chair there a Variety of Hypothesis on what it Represents. Some believe it Represents Alan’s Deceased Mother who’s Body was Discovered by Alan (Remember the Distress and Emotional Angst in the “How To Pick Up A Blue Chair…” Video. It could also Represent Alan’s Failures as Far as Failing to become a Famous YouTuber or Other Life Failures. Then Some think the Blue Chair Represents Alan’s Lost Childhood. The Blue Chair might also Represent Trouble? By this I mean was Alan a Trouble Maker as a Child and Thus was put on a “Time Out” sitting on said Blue Chair.

                   

CONCLUSION:

The Obvious Question on Everyone’s Mind is This Series Real or What and Heres the Answer. It’s Fictional Series it’s actually an Experimental Performance Art Project by American Comedian, Visual Artist, and Film Maker Alan Resnick Who plays a Fictional Version of Himself. Resnick created the Series as YouTube Satire since He was Frustrated (and Disgusted) with/by all the Pointless Vlogs, Poorly Filmed, Poorly Edited if at All, Monetization, Crappy Videos with No Though or Creativity (Content for Contents sake or a Quantity over Quality Scenario), and Unexplained Tutorial on Youtube. Resnick Deemed all of it a Trash/Trashy Content and Decided to Create His Own YouTube Trash Channel Showcasing all the Shit He Hated about the Platform. Resnick created the Storyline of the Fictional Alan being a Dark and Deeply Troubled Individual Who ends up on a Nightmarish Decent into Sheer Madness.

Stop- Motion Sci Fi Horror Web Series: OPERATOR – EPISODE 3

Welcome to this Wednesday’s FYB Post featuring  the Sci Fi Stop-Motion Web Series Directed by Sam Barnett OPERATOR – EPISODE 3! If You Haven’t seen the First to Episodes We Highly Suggest You Check them Out, and Just Your Luck Operator Episodes 1 and 2 have Already Been Posted to FYB.

When Asked about the Operator Series Barnett was Quoted as Saying the Following:

“I released Operator as a standalone short in 2013 and got much more recognition than I ever anticipated. I got inspired to make more and spent the next two years (between working other jobs) writing 14 new episodes. I got interest from a major studio to make it as a feature but it didn’t pan out. I considered working with a smaller horror production company that wanted to make it as a webseries but it wasn’t as good fit. After two years developing the series I decided to stop waiting for permission from studios and launched a successful kickstarter campaign to make Episode 2 which We released in 2017.”

                   

Plot Summery: The Faceless Company Info Corp is Trying to Sustain Profits while Attempting the Ability to Control All Possible Futures. In Doing So Info Corp’s Workers who have been Afflicted with the Unknown Parasitic Predator Creature are Subjected to Cognitive Ability Assessment. If the Infected Worker Passes a Short Series of Tests They are Returned to a Work Room, But if They Fail the Cognitive Ability Test They are Forced to Euthanize Themselves via Lethal Injection. While the Test Administrators Argue over Policies and Protocol one of the Infected Workers doesn’t Self Terminate, and instead Escapes Through an Air Duct. To find Out what Happens Next You’ll just have to Watch and See for Yourself.

Welcome to Another Installment of Strange and Disturbing Videos featuring the Mysterious and Surreally Creepy Polish Web Series Magiczny Swiat Ani (which Translates to The Magical World of Ania). The Grim Story Centers around the Mysterious Disappearance of a Girl Named Ania, and of Her Friends and Family as They try to Find Out what happened to Her.

Series Description:

Missing person Anna Słowińska. Anna was reported missing on May 29, 1993. She was 20 years old, Dutch language and literature student. She was last seen on 27 May 1993 at her flat. Anna is 165 cm tall, straight blond hair with fringe and blue eyes. To date, she has not contacted her familly or friends. If you have any information regarding Anna Slowinska, please contact us immediately.”

This is most definitely one of the most Complex Series I have ever encountered, and I’ve encountered more than a few. The Series Video’s include Codes, Hidden Social Media Pages, Cryptic Imagery, and Uses a variety of various Languages from around the World to convey certain clues. The Format for this Post is Simple: There will First be the Video and Under each Video I will Include any Information that I have come across while Researching the Series.

Description: The Bones Crystalize Only Under the Conditions of Real Love.

  • The Woman in the Mask seems to Represent Ania.
  • At the End of the Video when it Cuts to the Shot of a Lake there is Morse Code right before it Ends.
  • The Morse Code Spells the Word: Pomozmi
  • Pomozmi is Slovenian.
  • Pomozmi Translates into “Help Me”
  • This is the Introductory Video setting the Stage for the Forthcoming Series.

Title: Anno Domini 1993 (Translation: In the Year of Our Lord 1993)

  • The Title is Written in Medieval Latin.
  • It Translates into: In The Year Of Our Lord 1993.
  • The Video can be Separated into Two Parts with the First Half consisting of Some Very Strange Imagery.
  • The Second Half of the Video is a Phone Call with a Woman Named Krystyna Reporting Ania Missing to the Emergency Services.
  • The Viewer is Presented with a Numerical Code that when Decoded Spells out the Word “Tumblr” the Lower Their Social Media Platform.
  • On the Tumblr Page is an Audio Broadcast to the General Public Informing them of Ania’s unexplained Disappearance.

  • While the Audio Announcement Plays a Picture of an Eye Appears on Screen with more Morse Code Included.
  • When the Morse Code is Decoded it is a String of Text combined with the Previous Tumblr translation leads the Viewer to Another Tumblr Page that is again about Ania’s Disappearance.
  • The Masked Girl Representing Ania in this Video Walks Cautiously Backwards as if trying to Avoid/Escape Someone Following Behind Her.
  • This is Confirmed by Dialogue in a Man’s Voice that states “I couldn’t Hurt Her.”

Title: Haven’t We Met Before?

Description: She finally raised her eyes willy-nilly and looked him directly in the eyes.

  • The Three Images that Stick Out are: A Female Face on the TV that We can assume is Ania, A Crying Doll Head with Cameras in Front of It, and the Existence of a Dancing Doll.
  • There is a Letter Code that Translates into “Hallucinations”

  • The Video’s Opening Appears to be Krystyna’s Actual Dream.

  • Next Krystal retells the Story of How Ania was Almost Kidnapped as a Child by a Strange man. This is Why Krystyna thinks Ania was being Followed (and Subsequently Abducted) by a Cult.
  • Krystyna then goes on to claim Ania may have been Seeing Someone Inappropriate.
  • Another Interview in the Video is with one of Ania’s Neighbors or Family Friend who Claims Ania was a Good Girl and Very Sweet.
  • The Interview with the Neighbor/Family Friend leads to a Odd Revelation.
  • The Revelation is a There was a Insanely Eerie Hobo who lived in a Hut by the Forrest at the Time Ania was Abducted.
  • The Video also contains yet More Dolls so What is Their Significance?!

  • In Cryptography, the Tabula Recta is a Square Table of Alphabets, Each Row of Which is Made by Shifting the Previous one to the Left.
  • The Term Tabula Recta was invented by the German Author and Monk Johannes Trithemius in 1508, and use in His Trithemius Cipher.
  • 23 Seconds into the Video Appears some Jumbled Words.
  • The Top Code is the Previous Code for the Word Hallucination.
  • Under it there is a Second String of Code that hasn’t appeared in any other Videos.

      

  • A Reddit User Named Olik L. determined the Letters were Encoded with an Auto Key Cipher.
  • When the Second Line is Decoded Your left with a Youtube Link that takes You to a Video Called “The Magic of Nature”
  • Pertinent Video Quote ” The Human Body is Atoms and Molecules You Die and Absolutely Nothing Changes.”

  • The Masked Woman Acts Confused or Disoriented, but Why was She Drugged? Is She having some sort of Metal Breakdown? Is She having a Panic Attack?
  • The Pictures of Other People Wearing Masks like The Woman Representing Ania indicates She is Not the Only Captive.
  • At one point in the Video the Camera Cuts to a Prison Cell Like Area more than likely Used to Detain Captive Victims.
  • There is also Another Numerical Code Contained within the Video.
  • Using the Decoding Cipher at the Beginning of the Video You get the Result: KRWRZTUMBLR.
  • The Decoded Message is a Link to Yes Another Tumblr Page that gives the Viewer some of Ania’s Backstory on the Abduction/Capture of Ania.
  • The Video Ends with an Interview with a Polish Woman Named Maria who recounts a different Story from Ania’s Past where She was Knocked to the Ground by a Strange Running Man.

  • This Video Does Nothing But Raise More Questions.
  • Is the Man Symbolic of the Kidnapper?
  • Are the Two Women supposed to Represent His Victims/Captives?
  • Why are the Women Decapitated? Does this mean the Kidnapper is Also a Murderer who Kills His Captives when He tires of Them?
  • The Man is Also Decapitated is this indicative of some kind of Murder Suicide?
  • Does it Mean the Kidnapper will Only Stop when He’s Dead?
  • Does the Title Supreme Being to let the Viewer know that like So Many Serial Killers the Kidnapper is Egotistical, Narcissistic, and/or Megalomaniacs? This would Explain the Title as it would mean the Kidnapper sees Himself as God or a God at Least.

  • The Key Piece of Information is the Man who is Talking at the Beginning of the Video about How HE has set up Temples in the Woods.
  • Each Temple has a Name Attached to it (Are These Past/Present Victims?)

  • Each Temple is Inhabited by Other Masked People (Captives) agin showing the View Ania is Not the Only Abductee.

  • The End Shot of the Video Shows an Outdoor Shower Nestled in the Woods. Is this a POV Shot by Ania or One of the Other Captives?
  • Reddit User Olik L. decoded the Morse Code and Other codes contained in the Video and Discovered ANOTHER Tumblr Page containing a Hidden Video.
  • The Tumblr Page includes Encoded Audio.
  • When the Audio is Decoded to leads to Another Video Titled “…..” which shows Excerpts from Ania’s Diary.

  • The Video Opens with Several Porcelain Legs sticking out of the Ground and then Followed by More Porcelain Heads (Porcelain Reoccurring Theme).
  • There is a Scene with What We can Assume is The Actual Real Life Ania hanging Out with Some Random Guy (Is this the Inappropriate Person Krystyna talked about in Her Interview?) Could this Be One of the Aforementioned Cult Members or the Ania’s Actual Abductor?
  • The Video Ends with Two of its Ongoing Themes being Teeth and Dolls.

Title: What The Eye Does Not See

Description: What is it for anyways?

  • The First Thing Noticeable is the Description is a Repeat  of Video Six’s, But What is the Point/Meaning of using the Same Description for Two Entirely Different Videos?
  • The Video Opens with a Shot of Outer Space and the Word KOSMOS written in Greek.
  • The Next Word that appears with the Shots of the Woods NATURA which is an Italian which is Defined as: In the Nature of Things in the Woods of Nature as Distinguished from the World of Human Beings: In the Realm of Material Things.
  • The Next Word to Follow is Magia the Spanish word for Magic.
  • Then the Word Aura in English which means: The Distinctive Atmosphere or Quality that Seems to Surround and be Generated by a Person/Living Creature.
  • Then 2 Words appear on the Screen the First is EZO which is Ania in Turkish.
  • The Second Word on the Screen Below EZO is the Word SWIAT which is Hungarian for World.
  • Do all these Various Languages correlate with Ania’s Abduction? Are they Clues to Places Ania has been or taken To?

  • In the Video there is a Close Up of a Man’s Bloody Eyes as He preforms some sort of Ritual. The Ritual apparently is a type of Energy Ritual (Remember the Word Aura appears earlier in the Video).
  • During the Video a Woman’s Voice Recites a Series of Numbers. Unfortunately I haven’t been able as of Yet to find a Decoding of the Numerical Code.
  • During the Images of a Woman sort of Dancing or Swaying rather with Her hair Obscuring Her Face there is an Unidentified Woman doing an Interview. In the Interview She discusses how She had Cancer and Cured it.
  • Again there are Shots of the Creepy Subterranean Dugeon during which the Viewer can hear the Distinct Sound of a Old School Telephone’s “Out of Order” Tones.
  • There is a Shot of a Table with Crystals (that in all actuality look very much like Himalayan Sea Salt Lamps), and One Falls breaking when it Lands. Something Wafts out of the Broken Crystal and by My Best Guess is supposed to be Magic, a Magical Force, or Magical Powers.

          

  • During the Video the Viewer can Her Distinct Human Footsteps and a Classic Sliding Prison Door Opening. Is a Captive be Taken Out or a has a New Captive been Abducted?!
  • There is a Scene later on in the Video where a Woman Identifies Suspect #4 from a Police Suspect Line up. Could Suspect #4 be one of the Inappropriate People Ania was Seeing? Are They Cult Members? Could this in fact be the Eerie Hobo?!
  • During the Shot of the Mountains there are More Numerical Code, and again I have Unfortunately been Unable to Find a Decoded Version as of Yet.
  • The Video ends with Some Shirtless Guy Wearing a Gas Mask Freaking Out as if the Gas Mask is Stuck and the Man is Frantically/Desperately trying to Free Himself From It. Again Who is this fucking Guy, and what’s with the fucking Gas Mask?!

The relatives of the woman confirmed the identity of the deceased as Irena Kornacka, 39 years old. The body was found by the scouts who were camping nearby. “First we smelled that terrible stink. Then as we approached that lake, where those old sun loungers were, Matthew saw that something was floating in the water. As we came closer we saw that it was a dead body. The whole thing was swollen, and on his neck we could see somethink like a leather belt. Our team leader ordered us to go back to the camp immediately and he headed to the store to call the police” – says Kacper Kurek, one of the scouts who found the corpse.Irena Kornacka was last seen on May 7th. She has been treated for cancer for several years and her mental condition was poor. That is why the investigators initially suspected suicide. The autopsy however, excluded suicide as the reason of death and confirmed the involvement of third parties. We learned unofficially that the corpse had got all the teeth removed in unexplained circumstances. This in combination with the advanced state of the decay greatly delayed the identification.

During the interview of Maria Bednarska (flat no 42), I determined that on the morning preceding the day when Anna Słowińska went missing (i.e. 28.05.93), she was involved in an event she described as unusual, the course of the mentioned event as follows: on the square in front of the building she got hit and overturned to the ground by a running young man, age 20-25 years. Mrs. Bednarska said that the young man was running north from the south, across the square towards the street, between the buildings and toward the tram stop. Mrs. Bednarska claims that she does not know the identity of the young man. She is sure he is not a resident of the building she lives in. She claims to have remembered his face and that she would be able to identify him.

In the course of further activities carried out in the flat of the missing woman, several newspaper clippings regarding the murder of Irena Kornacka were found in her room. There is a separate investigation being conducted regarding Irena Kornacka case. In light of the evidence gathered there are no grounds at the moment to link the two investigations.

Interpretations and Hypotheses:

The Real Abduction: The Series could be Linked to a Real Life Abduction and possible Murder. This Hypothesis is Based on the Existence of a Facebook Pageant Newspaper Clippings that Display Missing Person Pictures for Anna Slowinska. Both of which Directly Coincide with the Series Itself.

The Cult Hypothesis: This is Based on the Concept that the Inappropriate Person/People Ania was associating with were in Reality Cult Members. Also there is Ania’s Friend Krystyna’s Story about How Ania was almost Abducted as a Child by a Mysterious Man (this led Krystyna to believe a Cult was Watching and Following Ania). There is also the distinct possibility that Ania may have decided to Run Away and Live in the Woods with The Other Cult Members VOLUNTARILY of Her Own Free Will. In All Honesty once You watch Video Six You see the Temples in the Woods are Inhabited Solely by Women in Latex Masks it DOES NOT Seem to be at all Voluntary in the Least.

                  

The Fashion Interpretation: This Interpretation was posed by a User Named Greenland Is Evil on Their Sub Reddit. This starts with Video One and the Heavy Use of the Color Red which in this Case Represents Evil. In Episode Four the Doll Crying in Front of the Cameras could Symbolize Ania and the possible pressures of Fame in the High Pressure Fashion World. In The Second Video of the Series Ania is a Small Child walking with a Man who We can assume here is Her Father. Ania’s Father’s Face is Splashed with Red and Ania appears to be Struggling to Keep Up Appearances in the Public Eye. In Episode Four the Interviewee claims Ania was Stressed Out and Visibly Losing Weight to Keep Up Her Appearance (which is a Factor of being in the World of Fame and Fashion). The Strange Man that Appears in the Videos could be a Representation of the World Ania has to Endure due to Her Job in Fashion. The Man in the Videos is Obsessed with Capturing Perfection that is Represented by the Porcelain Dolls.

Simple Abduction Hypothesis: This is Very Similar to the Fashion Interpretation with One Major Difference is the Elimination of the Allegory Aspect. In this Hypothesis Ania could very well be just a Regular Person Wo is Unhappy with Her Life and is Depressed. The Cameras then would be Symbolic of Ania’s Social Life. As We all Know by Now with Social Media and Cell Phones People’s Privacy has Diminished to a Spectacular Degree.

                  

Escapist Interpretation: Did Ania Run Off into the Woods to Escape the Immense Pressure(s) of Her Life, and Accidentally Ran into the Part of the Forrest Inhabited by the Creepy Hobo inadvertently becoming one of His Captives? Once Ania as Captured by the Hobo She was Kept Hidden Deep in the Wood Totally Isolated from the Rest of the World. The Hobo is His Captives Only Source of Survival for His Victims and is Represented in Episode Five. If His Victims are Dead or Alive since all the Hobo gives a flying fuck about is PERFECTION/THE PURSUIT OF PERFECTION.

The Underground Sex Ring: This Hypothesis is pretty Straight Forward in the Belief is the Series Showcases the DOLL FETISHISM. Doll Fetishism is a Sexual Fetish in which Individual is Attracted to Dolls and Doll like Objects such as Figurines. The Attraction may Include the Desire for Actual Sexual Contact with a Doll, a Fantasy of a Sexual Encounter with an Animate or Inanimate Doll, Encounters between Dolls Themselves, or sexual Pleasure gained from Thoughts of being Transformed or Transforming Another into a Doll. Doll Fetishism is a Form of Agalmatophilia, which is Itself a Form of Object Sexuality.

Awhile Back We had a Short Horror Film Friday that featured a Six Episode Horror Series called Don’t Hug Me I’m Scared. It was brought to Our attention recently that Someone had Located the Pilot Episode of DHMIS, and We were a little more than Psyched to Learn of This Development.

Don’t Hug Me I’m Scared is a Surreal British Cult Comedy Horror Web Series. The Web Series was Created by British Filmmakers, Graphic Designers, Artists, and Animators Becky Sloan and Joseph Pelling. DHMIS Consists of 6 Episodes, Released from July 29, 2011 to June 19, 2016 through The Artists’ Website, YouTube, and Vimo. Every Episode of DHMIS Utilizes Live Actors in Costume, Anthropomorphic Puppets, Traditional Animation, Stop Motion, and Computer Animation to Tell Each Story in the Series.

Each Episode Revolves around Yellow Guy (and His Father Roy Gibbleston), Red Guy and Duck Guy meeting One or Several Anthropomorphic Characters, Who begin a Musical Number related to a Basic Concept of Day-To-Day Life complete with an Upbeat Melody similar to that of a Nursery Rhyme. As Each Song progresses, it becomes Apparent that its Moral/Message is Nonsensical or Self-Contradicting, and that the “Teacher” Character has an Sinister Ulterior Motives. The Climax of each Episode Typically Involves GRAPHIC VIOLENCE, BLOOD SHED, GORE, OR PSYCHOLOGICAL HORROR!!! Later int he Series, the CHaracters begin to Questioning the NAture of Their Reality and the Bizarre Messages of the Teachers.

“Friendly Shadow”| Dystopian Animated Short Film

We are Thrilled to bring You “Friendly Shadow”the Second of Three NEW EPISODES  in the Apocalyptic Dystopian Animated Short Film Series By Scottish Writer, Director, Sculpture, Painter,  Artist, and Animator David James Armsby. The Short Film Series (which Ended in 2018 and was Revived in 2020) takes place in the Sci Fi Post Apocalyptic Town Known as Autodale where the Citizens are Anything but Normal.

                    

The Creator in His Own Words:

“Hello, Citizens of Autodale!” “This Public Service Announcement is following ludicrous concerns and whispers we’ve been hearing as of late. Silly claims of monsters and other loathsome things living within our city walls!” “There are no monsters here, citizens. Not in Autodale!” This film follows a detective that Autodale’s public knows as the “Friendly Shadow”. Autodale makes an effort to keep the monstrous creatures that lurk outside their walls from entering the city but somehow, incursions and attacks are becoming more and more frequent as of late. It appears that one particular monster-breach got very violent very fast and the Friendly Shadow is sent to investigate.

This film was a colossal amount of work, as you can imagine. It’s the longest animated film I’ve ever made. I’ve been working on this project for just over 10 months now and the number of sheer man-hours I’ve put into this one film is something I don’t want to think about. I’m extremely proud of this film, though. It’s very near and dear to my heart. I think it’s a decent film, with a decent story and I’m very chuffed I managed to pull it off. It’s one of the most ambitious projects I’ve ever attempted and I think it turned out pretty awesome. I REALLY hope you guys like it too! ^_^”

In this Installment Armsby Introduces a New Kind of “Ugly” that are the Exceptional’s; and How Imagination can Play a Fundamental Role in Uncovering the Horrible Secret of the “System.

“Imagination. So Powerful. Your children are full of it. Always having their minds drift off into the wonderous and magical expanse of their creativity. Often visualising brilliant and terrible things. Impossible things.” This film is a sequel/spin-off to two previous animations of mine, “Being Pretty” and “No Monsters”. It’s the first of three animated shorts I have planned set in the universe. I honestly forgot how much I like working in this universe. The aesthetic and tone of Autodale is really fun to work with. I know that this short doesn’t really expand on the lore much beyond what we’ve already seen but that’s why it was the idea I told first out of the three. This was a smaller story about manipulation and imagination that I really wanted to tell and I hope you guys enjoy it!”

For several months now I have been uploading videos of my human pet. His name is Eric. He is being held against his will. That is all you need to know about him for now.

Eric would very much like to leave his prison cell and go home to his family, but that is not up to me. It is up to you. You will decide whether Eric gets to see his family again. You will decide whether Eric lives or dies.

The Human Pet is/was an Interactive Psychological Horror Project that’s far from the Bland, Mundane, and Asinine Fair One Finds littering the Internet Nowadays. It is a Series of Disturbing Videos, Blog Posts, Vlogs, and Websites many of which contained Encoded Messages (One such Hidden Message from a Innocuous Blog Post States”Dig Too Deep and You might Not like What You Find….”)

                    

Now its important to mention that while The Human Pet Webseries came to be in the Early Wild West Days of YouTube before Youtube had come into its own. While there were No Rules, Regulations, Terms of Service, or Community Guidelines People still could and Would Report Videos They found Troubling, and They reported these Videos A LOT. This created several ongoing Problems for the Still Unknown Creator(s) of the Series. This meant Youtube Took the Some of the Series Videos Down, and They Even Shut Down the Original Human Pet Channel. The Human Pet essentially became the Blair Witch Project because the Webseries as it was Shot so Realistically People Actually Thought it was in fact Real. Before You roll Your Eyes You have to Remember the Series started in 2006. At that Point this kind of Artistic Project hadn’t been done before. It was a Brand New Artistic Medium provided by the Inception of Youtube.

                      

The Series Showcased a Young Man named Eric Taylor being Held Hostage against Hs Will in a Room with Nothing but a Mattress. His Captor, The Codemaster (aka The Man in the Mask, aka Sam Deercot an Anagram formed from Codemaster), gave the Audience the Ability to Help Eric Survive through picking which Food He will Eat to How to Filter Contaminated Pond Water He is Given to Drink. Later Videos were Uploads of Eric’s own Personal Vlogs, Detailing some of His Actions that lead to His Capture. In Addition to the Creepy Codemaster’s Channel Eric’s Father and Sister started a Channel Dedicated to Finding Eric. They Uploaded Several Videos with Info pertaining to Eric and Pleas for Help from the Public.

                 

The Film Making is Often Stark- a Locked off Shot-but the Threat of Violence from The Codemaster (Also Referred to as The Man in the Mask) makes the Series Truly Riveting. In Other Videos The Codemaster makes Strange Animations-Offering a Glimpse into the Mind of the Deranged Villain. In other Videos He is Cruelly Playful seeming Utterly Delighted by the Suffering He is Causing All involved. In the Final Video “THIS VIDEO TAKES YOU TO HELL” the Viewers learn some of The Code Master’s Backstory, and How He became a Deranged Maniac.

                      

Themes Found Within The Human Pet:

  • Abusive Parents: In “This Video Will Take You To Hell”, We learn about a Child Whose Parents kept them Locked in a Room with a Mattress, a Broken TV, a Litter Box, and Pet Food Bowls. This Child was The Codemaster and more than Likely Shaped His Psychotic Hobbies.
  • Alcoholic Parent: Eric’s Sister describes Their Mother as having Succumbed to Drinking due to Her Husbands Abusive Behavior.
  • Alternate Reality Game: Viewers actively Participated by Attempting to Help Eric (or as “My Pet” as the Codemaster Refers to Eric As), getting to Ask Him Questions, Cracking Codes, Looking for Hidden Messages/Clues/Hints, and by Searching for a Secret Tape that Revealed the Final Video.
  • The Cat Food Diet: Viewers were Allowed to Determine what Single Solitary Solid Food Eric could Eat that would contain Enough Nutrients for Him to Survive; The Food turned out to be Cat Food.
  • Domestic Abuse: Eric’s Father Not Just Abused His Wife Driving Her to Drink, but He also Abused Eric and His Sister as well. The Codemaster’s Pervious Victim before Eric was a Prostitute Named Emily who made the Fatal Mistake of Approaching The Codemaster’s Car Late on Night.When Emily tried to Leave the Game Her Boyfriend (Who got Her into Hooking) Literally Threw Her and Her Belongings Out of the House.
  • NO ENDING: The Last Video Uploaded is Less of an Ending and More a Peek into The Codmaster’s Backstory, and has Not Uploaded any other Videos Since 2008 (More than likely it was Abandoned by Its Creator.)

    • The Main Character is Named Mary who wakes up trapped in a Copy of Her Parent’s House, and Has No Idea How She got There.
    • There a Total of Four Different Demonic Entities in the House along with Mary. The Fiendish Foursome Torment Mary Relentlessly.
    • Mary has an Ally in The Woman In White who Dwells in The Garden, but Mary is Utterly Unaware of This. To make things worse The Lady In White has been Desperately Trying to Relay Messages and Warnings to Mary, Yet Apparently the Four Foul Entities are Intercepting Her Communications.
    • The Series Bleeds Over into Mary’s Actual Twitter Account and Blog, and each Platform provides Clues and Hints as to What is Going on in the Series.

  • In May Mary started Posting to Her Twitter Account once again and She was Obviously in a Extremely Dark Place. Mary Tweets that the Lights in the House almost Never turn on at Night, Flashlights Die when She needs them the Most, Food and Water Taste Terrible, Her Voice is Hoarse from Screaming, The Door Bell Keeps Ringing, She Can’t See Us Online, The Veiled Lady is a More Aggressive Tormenter than ever, and Everything is Awful.

“i have to pick a time or i won’t do it. i know myself too well. i am lazy like she says. it’s 8pm right now. So how about that. 8pm one week from this moment. Maybe she’ll finally kill me and put an end to all this. 8pm”

“I am ready to be done with all this. i am going to finally talk to her. i will finally ask her. one week from today i think, some time after the sun sets. one week to give me some time. to be absolutely sure.”

  • So from Her Tweets Mary sounds Seriously Suicidal , and is actually Planning to Kill Herself in a Week.
  • Mary Appears to be suggesting She will ask the Veiled Lady to Kill Her thus Ending Her Daily Torment.
  • As Mentioned in the Tweet Above Mary Posted One last Picture of Herself on/to Her Blog with another HIDDEN MESSAGE in the Source Code.
  • The Message is from The Lady In White Who Needs Our Help.The Lady In White at a Certain Poin is going to Break the Wall Between Mary and the Rest of Us. This will allow Mary to See Us online Again, and that a Flood of Notifications Must Happen to Assure She Does.
  • Luckily for Poor Mary This Plan comes to Fruition (in the knick of time) in the Video Titled “anagnorisis which was Posted On May 29, 2020 and Serves as The Catalyst of the Series.
  • Seeing Her Notifications again Proves to Mary The Veiled Lady has been Lying to Her all Along telling Her that No One Cares about Her.
  • An Enraged Mary has the Courage to Confront The Veiled Lady who Runs from Mary when Confronted, and Mary Chases After Her as The Hunter becomes the Hunted.
  • During the Chase Mary ends up in The Garden where She converses with The Darkness, and Relieves all Her Past Torment during which Mary can Her the Lady In White at Last.
  • The Lady In White Comfort and Reassures Mary that “We Have You.”

           

  • The Lady In White can Aide Mary by Serving as A Guide to Help Mary Escape from Her Tormenters and The House Itself.
  • In The Garden The Lady In White informs Mary that She has The Power to Change this Place, and Enough Power to Free Herself from Being Imprisoned in The House. Mary learns She has this Power (to “Take the darkness and make it your own.”) because She Created this Hellish Alternate Reality.
  • This Leads to a great deal of Self Realization on Mary’s Part who takes The Lady In White’s Guidance, and Turns the Tables on Her Terrifying Tormenters. Mary Armed with the Knowledge that She created these Demonic Creatures so She can Destroy Them As Well does Exactly that.
  • Mary Finds Herself Pitted in a One on One Battle against The Veiled Lady who is Ultimately Vanquished (along with The Darkness) having been Expelled by Mary From The House.
  • When Marry Awakens after the Exhausting Fight and Goes Upstairs She finds the Rock She Brought in from the Garden, but more Importantly the Front Door is Wide Open.

            

  • The Last Video of the Hi I’m Mary Mary simply Titled Goodbye was Posted on May 30, 2020.
  • We don’t won’t to Give Away Anything about the Final Episode so Here is the Description that Was Posted Along with the Video Itself.

So What was it All About You may be asking Yourself well there Two Schools of Thought when it comes to the Series’s Meaning. In Our Previous Posts We Stated it was a Metaphor for Someone Struggling with Alcohol/Drug Addiction and this is Still True.

The Other School of Thought is some what Similar in that the Series is Symbolic of a Person’s Struggle Fighting, Surviving, Learning to Understand and Overcome Depression (and the Monsters of One’s Own Mind) presented through a Horror Web Series.
